When it happened she turned on the ball of her foot quickly and ended up towards the side as she spun more as she fell and grabbed a kunai and went for the back of his knee to try and bring him down if she could a little. Her other arm was towards the ground so she could possibly still move if needed.

-=Again, Neko's body poofed into a cloud of mist, which the attack simply flew through. It dispersed, and formed again, twenty feet away from Ally=-
Enough.

Transforming into an element is simple to learn, but hard to master, and can be argued as one of the best escape maneuvers a shinobi can know, but it is very dangerous. If something goes wrong, you can be stuck in that form, or you can easily be killed in that form, if the person you are fighting can absorb your chakra before you can reform.
To accomplish this, you must expand your chakra to encompass your body, and your equipment. your chakra needs to pass through everything on your person that you don't want falling to the ground. once you have that, just concentrate on turning it all into a mist. To begin, you won't be able to stay in that form for long, but the more natural it becomes, the easier time you'll have transforming, and keeping the state. Be careful not to stay in that form too long, though, because chakra is steadily used to keep it stable, and stopping the mist, and your spirit, from scatttering.
Try it.

She nodded, she knew how to control her chakra fairly well to her body and into things so that wouldn't be the hardest part......... the fact of turning into mist bothering her slightly would be the problem. She brought the chakra through her body and into her sword and kunai pouch as well as its contents. She thought of mist and slowly changed into it but changing into the other state became the true problem out of it all and she fell into the pond, which was her usual luck .
"oh i just got this oufit cleaned...." She said growling.

You're thinking heavily. Concentrate on nothing but turning to mist, and relax.

She nodded and did it again as she closed her eyes as she did it again trying to keep her chakra going but kept thinking more about the chakra everytime she tried to bring her mind to the mist. Finally after the third try she was able to relax enough . She closed her eyes again as she turned into a mist and was able to keep it for a little bit now and move slightly until she had to let go and she landed on the ground on her feet a bit wobbly though.

"well......I haven't used them that often though...... I was usually in rage before I would even think of them......."
She fixed her hair then flipped it back and tied it into a ponytail.

Did I detect some sass behind that, grunt?
-=Neko raised an eyebrow, and took a step forward, still thumbing the pommel of his sword=-
Do I need to remind you of the situation you're in?
