*As my new partner's PokéBall goes back to the Aqua PC network, I head back to the fence*
Me: Hmm...
*Upon close inspection, I see small gas spills*
Me: This was done quite on purpose. We have some arsonists about.
*I see a gas container that has a big P on it*
Me: What kind of idiot team brands their arson equipment, and then leaves it at a crime scene? Everyone, find a plasma grunt. Given the shoddy work, I imagine the only ones in the area will be basic grunts with 2-3 Pokémon. Find them.

"WHOOPS!" Allen had been flying the wrong way the entire time. "I was reading the map wrong." He finally flew down over the ranch as his teammates began separating to look around. He knew exactly what when he noticed a man darting from the windmill to a barn. He had a familiar characterized P on his chest. "Ohhhhh." He lead Ubella towards the barn and safely hopped off, he quickly returned her to her ball and sneaked up to the outside of the barn.

There was a shout and one of the doors to the inside burst open, revealing a Seviper. Allen flipped a Pokeball from his belt, a burst of white light shot from the ball revealing a large greenish blob with a little Pokemon curled up inside. "Cecil!" He called out and the Pokemon twitched and looked up to see the Seviper coiled angrily. Large arms formed from the jelly just as the Snake launched into the air, it's tail dripping with venom. It slashed across the jelly, leaving a purple streak through the blob that just swirled in place for a moment, Cecil quickly threw his arms forward to grab tightly on the Pokemon, "Psyshock!" Blue waves emanated from Cecil's body and solidified as they left the jelly to pulsate into the Seviper, instantly KOing it. The snake dropped limply to the ground when Cecil released his grip.

A man ran from the barn, returning the Seviper to it's Pokeball, He tossed a ball, revealing a Watchog. Allen squinted, "Alright, Kell!" He called out tossing another ball into the air and in another flash of white light, a Bisharp fell to the ground. He hopped back and forth from foot to foot ready to scrap. The Watchog rushed up, clamping down on Kell's arm, Kell swung around trying to take the groundhog off balance, he used his other arm as well, pulling back and slamming down, using Brick Break. The opposing Pokemon cried out as it slid away on all fours. The Plasma Grunt called for another move, but it didn't matter, "Sucker Punch!" Allen called, Kell's fist balled up and it shifted forward where the rodent Pokemon would soon be and punched the Pokemon square in the face. sending it back sprawled out on the ground, fainted. The Grunt took a few steps back before running off into the woods behind the barn.

"Wonder what they were trying to accomplish..." He raised his eyebrow before turning to try and figure out where everyone might have gone.

*As the battles wrap up, I notice the farmer talking to Officer Jenny*
Me: How is there always an Officer Jenny around after you need them? Eh, who cares? Let's get out of here before the police want to question us.
*I slip in to the shadows and head back*

Allen heard Brian's orders and nodded agreeing, he turned to head into the woods, the same way the grunt had gone in fact. Hmm, he thought shortly about following the guy, but ended up just doing his own thing.

Allen noticed his own Pokemon behind him, "I guess I forgot to return you guys." Allen looked over his Pokemon. Kell's arm looked brand new, like he hadn't even been bit." He gave a smile patting the Bisharp's shoulder and returning him, le then looked back to his Reuniclus. There was still a mending gash in the Jelly and purple streaks that seemed to be spreading through the Jelly. "Here." He pulled a Lava Cookie from his bag and handed it to the Pokemon. He watched the Pokemon form a bubble around it to it wouldn't touch the coating. As Cecil ate the venomous streaks faded. He gave a short good job and returned the Pokemon to his ball.

Allen heard a bit of shifting in the distance. He raised his eyebrow and ducked low, another Plasma Grunt?

Allen sort of jumped when Marshtomp hopped from the bushes. And then when the excitement left the Pokemon's face Allen muttered, "Oh gee, nice to see you too." He petted the Pokemon's head and stood again, "Oh, hey." He gave a short wave and looked away. He was still embarrassed over that happening in Anville Town.

"I see your Noibat evolved." He looked over the now much taller Dragon Pokemon.
