Blind Light

"You need to open up more." Reeve said with a smile. "You are very shy. I know you must be riddled with questions, but you don't seek an answer." The cane guided him again, alerting him to the obstacles in front of him. "Your a strange one..." He chuckled lightly.
((I may have to go soon.))

With a small shrug of her shoulders, she did not know how to explain herself on this truth. "I know. Even if I wanted answers very badly, if it does not feel right, if it is only something that I would gain from ... I will not persue the answers I desire. It does not seem right to me, it is too much for me to ask from others."

(Ooc: I too am ready to call it a night also Yawgie went to bed a while ago. ^^; )

Reeve chuckled, for once one could actually hear his footsteps. "You need to learn that it is is normally fine to ask questions. Who cares if your the only person to benefit, if the other person is willing to share." He had an odd sense about life, he always had. Things were straight forward to him and Reeve very rarely saw that things were in a 'gray' section of right and wrong.

Grinning slightly, she continued walking beside Reeve, watching the tip of his cane to make sure she stayed out of it's way. "I have asked too many questions of other people in the past and have learned to use caution since then. Perhaps I have gone to the extreme because of it." she pulled her cloak around herself again, not because she was cold but because it felt more safe. "Curiosity can have a price to pay."

"So can Friendship, Love, Vengence, and Pride. Everything has its prices, all one can do is learn to pay them." He yawned a bit, and put his hand to his mouth so as not to be rude. "And there is no such thing as too many questions... One must learn to space them though."

She nodded and sighed softly in agreement. Seeing Reeve yawn reminded her that it was getting late. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't keep you like this. Is there--" she paused, remembering that he lived outside. "Er, did you wish to rest now?"

Reeve shrugged. "I don't normally sleep." He suddenly stopped using his cane and started to spin it around in his hand. "But perhaps a little sit down would be nice... Are you growing tired of my company?" He held in a larger smile and made the smile already on his face fade. In truth he only wanted to see her reaction.

Moving a step away from him to avoid getting too close to his twirling cane, she continued walking by his side. Seeing the expression on his face, she assumed that she had overstayed her welcome."Not at all. I would assume the opposite though."

Reeve chuckled, his smile returning to his face. "No, you are fine. If I wanted you to leaveI probably would not have invited you to follow me."

She blushed slightly, embarrassed that she did not think of that. "Oh, right. I just ... loose it when under pressure like that from Yawgmoth. It is very frustrating for me, my thoughts scatter in all directions and it takes a while to get back on track. Not to mention it rather breaks my heart, so to speak." she sighed and reached her left hand from under her cloak to itch a spot on the back of her head. "I suppose this is boring to hear though." she turned to Reeve and smiled at him, remembering that he said he would like to rest. "Is there anywhere in particular you would like to rest? What do you prefer to sit upon?"

"It seems like Mr.Yawgmoth likes to push your buttons..." Reeve tilted his head a bit when she said that it broke her heart. There were many things he understood in this world, his fellow human was not one of them. "No, it is actually quite interesting. Why does this hapen to you?" He stopped suddenly and fell back, landing with his butt on the ground. "The ground is fine for me."

With a wave of her hand, a chair appeared out of thin air before her, just to the side of Reeve. She sat heavily in it and crossed her arms over herself. "Sorry, the ground has never suited me well for some reason. As for Yawgmoth and people of a similar nature... I do not understand them. I do not understand why anyone would enjoy making other people feel uncomfortable or berate them." she sighed heavily and looked away from Reeve in to the distant trees surrounding them. "I try to be kind to others, try to be helpful, supportive. To know that there are some who believe the opposite is the preferred method is confusing and frustrating to me. That is why it breaks my heart, I wish they were more like .. well, like you and me."

He sighed slightly and fell backwards into a laying position. "People like Mr.Yawgmoth enjoy the reaction of what they do to others. They are the kind of people that don't feel happiness very easily, unless on the battlefield. If you have ever been in a largescale battle, you tend to learn that the only way to not feel pain while killing is to enjoy it as much as possible..." Reeve pushed the hair out of his face. He had his eyes closed, but the white scars that covered his eyelids and all around his eyes made him look like a rather sad person. "Once you take away the battle, they feel the need to torment... And if they do it for long enough you come to find that the best way to torment a person is Mentally and Emotionally." He chuckled for a moment. "In many ways he and I are more alike than you and I."

At the sound of his movement, she turned back to him to see if he was alright. Seeing that he had just lied back, she smiled a bit and nodded her head, listening to his words. If he felt a connection with Yawgmoth before now, she was surprised he did not say something sooner. "I see. The difference being compassion?" she said softly, gazing at him. Noticing his hair had moved, she took the opportunity to look at his eyes. The scars helped her to realize that his observation was true. "I did not think of that. We have traveled very different paths before arriving here indeed."

Reeve scratched at his scars a bit. "Yes, the difference being compassion." He yawned again slightly. "Most people don't think of that. Many people have different ways of coping... Mr.Yawgmoth just took a more destructive way." A question came to Reeve's mind. "May I ask you another question?"
