There's a TON of spoofs and stuff in the old Space Quest games.
I only ever beat Freddy Pharkas though. The only other I know much at all about is Space Quest 5, and only up to the part where you have to fly around in space. I lost the manual so I never could see where to go. ( Coordinate-driven flight system, the manual had the coordinates. It's one of those feelies to protect against piracy, etc. )

Ugh, fracking hellz. Did anyone get the plate number of the weekend that hit me?
Game, BBQ, game, BBQ, game, pulling a recovery. Picked up and read Path of Destruction, cool book, read that comic Jedi vs. Sith, cute. I love three day weekends. I hope you all had as much fun as I did. heart

Joss Whedon's "Dr Horrible's Sing-Along Blog" Is one of the greatest shows of all time. It's worth the six bucks to buy it all off of Itunes.

They changed the limit on maximum object height in SL from 768 meters to 4,096 meters.
The lab relocated 3,000 meters higher than what it was. What a view.

Wouldn't know. It's hard to see anything half the time to begin with, so i can only imagine what lack of a view it now musst have.

So, based on the commercial for Mercenaries 2, I can assume the plot is this:
In 1, you're paid to blow all kinds of crap to Hell.
In 2, your employer decides not to pay afterall, so you blow his crap up as payback.
