Seph was planning on remaining outside with Reeve, but when he heard what Nyl said as the doors closed, he poked his head inside.
"Wait. What happened to Durem?"

Vampires. A whole mess of 'em. And every Gaian has taken up arms and become Demon hunters. Fun stuff.

"Well, I can't stop any of you from going out to help, if you think that's right. And I won't turn away anyone who shows up here in trouble. ...But unless it's necessary, I'm not actively looking for trouble out there."

Seph rubbed his head softly. "Wow.. Vampires? This is almost like the Gambino Zombie outbreak from a few years ago.." He frowned a bit.

Yeah. We picked a real nice spot to set up shop, didn't we?

I doubt it'll be long before our amateur demon hunters catch wind of a buffet in the hills, and a nice Youkai head they can mount over their fireplace. I'm going to prepare for the worst, and I suggest everyone else do the same. Hopefully they'll be too distracted by all the bloodsuckers up there and we'll only get the pushovers and be able to send them to their mommies..
