Cameos and allusions do help to make the world feel alive. I can see why it is hard to do so, since the writers for comic X and comic Y are rarely the same person even when within the same publishing company.

Even more complicated is the legal issue. The same comic company has spread out the legal right to several studios, so if one studio goes under, not all their properties go under with it. That means the people that make the X-Men movies cannot touch Spider Man, cannot touch Fantastic Four, etc. Thus, the legal shuffling has backfired in that aspect. This also explains why we get reboots of movies that nobody wanted. They are often done to follow clauses in contracts such as "If property is not used in film after X years, it returns to Marvel" or similar.

Let me know what you though of Era 4 whenever you get around to it (here or in the other thread, not that it matters much).

Not really. It would be inconsiderate of me otherwise, so I guess I see it as common decency. smile

So true, especially for common sense...
Yes, Happy Easter, all. Mine was good, but nothing special, really.

I don't follow. Are you saying common sense isn't rare or that common sense being rare isn't bad?
Seems so... I know Kitsune Berry is busy w/ projects, and his finals are coming up soon.
