Speaking of Force Lightning, the dumb Potentium s**t in the EU is making things weird.
Luke is now using Dark Lightning against people like its no biggie.

Hmm...I wonder what would happen if lord Revan and Darth Vader had lunch with tea while waiting for the emperor.

Revan:I never had a wife or kids.Though,heh,there was this one time on Nar Shaada.....Er....Nevermind.
Vader:...Wha...o..oh,I see now.So how about those pesky hero people eh?Those damned rebels keyed my lambourgine
Revan:...I not only lost my memory due to Bastilla but I became a hero myself,made friends,worked against myself,murdered my ex-padawan Malach and disappeared into the galaxy after destroying the Star Forge.
Vader:......*Tea sip*....Dude,you have to much time on your hands.
Emperor:Jimmy!Billy!How did you know I'd be here?*Sits down and Old Folk's Home Worker daps chin with napkin.*.......WHo are you two again?
Vader:It's me my master....Lord Vader.
Revan:.....It's me,Revan.The one who killed people.
Emperor:Oh Revan,I didn't see you there!

Hopefully, this is all buildup for a huge turnaround in Legacy of the Force.
You see, Jacen Solo was the one most affected with the Potentium theory, which is basically constituted by two things:
1) There is no Dark Side or Light Side, just one Unifying Force, only good actions and bad actions.
2) The ends justify the means.
And now, Jacen Solo the biggest practicioner of the Potentium theory is now acting with many Dark Side motives and acting really Sithy, letting his emotions for his daughter control him.

Since he started acting like a Sith.
Read the Library Thread under the Joiner King and Unseen Queen summaries.
Basically, he wanted the Hapes Consortium's aid (though he wasnt backed by the Republic or the Jedi) in instigating a Killik-Chiss conflict, so he went and screwed Tenel Ka, ended up getting her preggers, and she had a daughter.
