☼ Silhouettefeather ☼ Waiting for the end to come
Wishing I had strength to stand
This is not what I had planned
It's out of my control.... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~The rustle of dead leaves stirred by the wind that swept across the snowy atmosphere. The air was cold, made soft with the promises of winter. A small figure crept in through a gap left between two bushes, the tips of her ears parted at gentle points. Her black fur was left sleek with flecks of snow that were already beginning to melt into water from her warm body-temperature. The she-cat glanced across the camp, her bright green eyes fervent with unknown happiness. It was almost as if a warm and welcoming aurora raidated from the she-cat. Her delicate face had a soft smile drawn across it, one that seemed as dainty as it was friendly. "Hello there, everyone! Don't you just love the snow? I know I do! It sparkles in the sunlight! Don't you agree with me? I just love winter days like these! I love all days! All days are fun!" Silhouettefeather's high soprano mew childed. Her sudden greeting was not directed at any cat in particular, but to everyone. With her green eyes wide with excitment, she began to pad into the center of camp, a slight skip in her gait. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Flying at the speed of light
Thoughts were spinning in my head
So many things were left unsaid
It's hard to let you go...

 .:Onyxpaw:. [Onyxpaw snapped her head up at the sudden yowling of one cat. She made a small purr of amusement. Same old Silhouettefeather.] "Hello to you too, Silhouettefeather." Onyxpaw greeted quietly. [She wasn't expecting to see how cheerful the warrior was, but got used to it in a matter of time.]

"Yes Brother! This one is most Cheerful!"
[Sandkit smiled. She flicked her ears and felt as though
someone had noticed her. She turned to see Swallowkit's gaze of pride.
Her hazel eyes met with hers, they were full of hope, of happiness.]
hmm... Swallowkit is cousin too! right?
[Sandkit turned back to her brother, as she thought of
something else]
"You get more happiness out of giving happiness to
others! So we should always be positive!"
[Sandkit said, her voice full of laughter. She bounced
around her brother. Then bowled over, rolling in the snow with laughter.]

It's out of my control.... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~The she-cat's head whirled over to where Onyxpaw was . "Well whoop-de-doo! Hello! How's it going? Do you like the weather? Ain't it cold? Oh well!" Silhouette exclaimed, her soprano meows coming out in a fast jumble of words. The black warrior flopped down on the ground, lying on her back, with her white-dappled paws sticking up ever so slightly in the air. She began to roll around in the snow, kicking up the powdery substance with each twist or flick of the tail. The snow felt cool against her black pelt, maybe even refreshing. Soft purrs bubbled up in the back of Silhouettefeather's throat. She let her eyes fall half-closed. This she-cat rolling in the snow was easily the type of cat someone could refer to as a babbling freak. And she didn't even care. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Flying at the speed of light

When life knocks you down FIREKIT _______ [Firekit growled as he listened to the joyful sounds of kits playing and laughing. What was he to them?! Just some kit that was just there if they needed someone to use? No! He was much more than that!]"I don't care anymore.. My attempts for popularity never worked. I'll make an imaginary friend.. And I'll name him.. Uh, I'l name him Frost!"[He then smiled, and imagined Frost sitting by him, giving him all the comfort he needed.]"Do't you worry Firekit, I'll never leave you. Just promise you will never leave me."[Firekit chuckled and smiled bigger than he ever had.]"I promise, Frost. Your my best friend. I don't care about those others. Your the only one I need. Would you like to play fight with me?"[Frost smiled back, and nodded his head.]"Sure, Firekit! Lets go play in front of those other kits, so they feel jealous of our fun."[Firekit obeyed, and followed Frost out of the outskirts of the nursery and close by to the others. Frost then began to giggle and play fight with Firekit.] Just get back up when it knocks you down

When life knocks you down FIREKIT _______ [Firekit turned and faced his sister and smiled, but then Frost hissed at him.]"No! You cannot play with Sandkit. She's only using you. Hiss at her and tell her I'm all that you need!"[Firekit, being the kit he was, followed his imaginary friend's advice and hissed at Sandkit.]"No! Frost is the only friend I need! He was there to comfort me when I was at my lowest point. He never left my side. But you did."[He then resumed play fighting with Frost, who smiled at his friend."Good job, best friend." Just get back up when it knocks you down

It's out of my control.... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Silhouettefeather averted her leafy green stare over to Sandkit, who was also rolling in the snow, just like her. A ripple of purrs erupted from the she-cat's throat. This is just so much fun! The black-pelted warrior thought happily. "Heeeyyyy, Sandkit, don't cha' think this is fun? I love the snow! And by the way, I feel like a leaf today! Yesterday I felt like a bird, but today I feel like a leaf!" She exclaimed in her high-pitched meow. Silhouettefeather didn't care if she was acting like a kit or not. She just like to have fun. When the she-cat sat up on her paws, her silky black pelt was flecked white with snow. Silhouettefeather abrubtly gave herself a shaking, ruffling her fur on purpous to make the snow sprinkle off. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Flying at the speed of light

When life knocks you down FIREKIT _______ [Firekit narrowed his eyes to the point where they looked like tiny slits and growled.]"But brother nothing. None of you ever cared for me. Not even my own family. Only Frost was there to dry my tears and make the sun shine bright again. Even Valorkit, has run off to be with you."[He turned around and continued is game with Frost, appearing happier with Frost then he was with anyone else.]"Good job little one."[Frost then laughed at Firekit's sister when she turned her attention to the warrior. He was right!]"See that? Sandkit doesn't care for you. She doesn't even care enough to finish that sentence.""Y-your right, Frost! She doesn't care!" Just get back up when it knocks you down

I mean, if you were to fall into a river and be able to float ....never knowing where the current will take you next. It just sounds so....." Silhouettefeather abrubtly stopped her random rambling to search for the right word to describe the travels of a leaf. Yes, she knew she was strange.....and she still didn't care. Silhouettefeather saw no reason to. "It just sounds so exciting!" The green-eyed she-cat exclaimed once she had managed to find the perfect word. Exciting. Yes, that was certainly it. Silhouettefeather imagined if she were a leaf, softly floating down until making a graceful landing upon the water's rippling surface, to be carried down by the endless currents to unknown land. She turned to Onyxpaw next, her green gaze glimmering with delight. The she-cat gently lashed forwards with one dainty, white-dappled paw....only to give the apprentice a playful poke on the shoulder. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Flying at the speed of light

.:Onyxpaw:. [Onyxpaw abruptly jumped up, surprised.] "W-wha?" She stuttered, fur standing on end.[She landed in a large patch of snow. A small mew escaped her muzzle, but was cut off as the coldness of snow hit her. Onyxpaw jumped out as quickly as she fell in and purred happily.] "Ha ha ha, very funny!" She purred, wiping snow off of her head.

The black-furred warrior teased lightly through soft purrs. Her whiskers and tail twiched slightly with amusement. Silhouettefeather allowed herself to tumble backwards until she landed on her side. The she-cat swept her paws and hindlegs across the ground, as if she were running, her movements leaving imprints in the snow. ((ooc: Silhouettefeather's making a snow angel! xD)) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Flying at the speed of light

 After she put her two cents into the discussion among the kits, Swallowkit turned to Firekit, one of her cousins, playing by himself. She watched for a little bit, then padded toward him. Swallowkit asked, "Are you okay?"
She didn't understand Firekit sometimes. Why is he playing with nothing? There's nothing there that I can see... Swallowkit didn't want to say that out loud because she heard him tear apart his sister, and as a cousin Swallowkit didn't even have the same instinctive protections that Sandkit had.
