That should be fine for just this once considering the level of the mission you took, but don't try and do it again later. If you loiter in the hall long enough before taking a mission, you might even be lucky enough to get a specialized mission from an NPC running the hall rather than one from the list.

Although he does have the same misguided sense of curiosity. xD
He is extremely adventurous, but he is curious beyond belief and it gets him ni a shitload of trouble. That and he is stubborn [Like a bull. Bahahaha 8 tails reference. ;D] so he will try things his own way until they work. He wont just accept advice and change everything. xD

But... It's practically impossible to actually hit him in the desert, unless you're a dang kage. Sure, Karo wouldn't know that, but still. Accepted or not, it was official. He can just challenge David every once in awhile, cause he's gonna be on his team.
