Akito was now standing at the bottom of the stairs, just staring up at Omazige.
"Maybe we should call this plan off. Figure out something else. Something that doesn't require you to die."

Omazige walked past Akito, and stopped directly behind him.
"It's too late for that. The only cure lies with Recht, and there's no way we could get it otherwise." he said before walking off again.

"Is there any way to get this over with quickly?"
". . ." Menos then reached into a pouch on his armor and brought out an amulet.
"A harrowing amulet. Recht had these created so that he could keep in touch with all of his generals, no matter the distance."

He then just stared at Menos, before glaring at him.

"We have no choice. The only other way is to let Hael recover on her own." Menos said, looking at Akito before looking at Omazige.
"It will take anyone near the amulet into an alternate realm the size of a war room. Recht will know that it is my amulet instantly, and appear. Unless both parties agree, violence is unable to occur."
