She got up and walked to Atta sitting by her and sighing she rested her head against Atta's arm

Abel sat quietly, not moving. He obviously wasn't trying to stop anyone from touching her but still felt defensive over Atta. He stared at his sword, sighing. And reached into pocket and pulled out another cigeratte placing it between his lips, and lit it. Taking a long drag he blew smoke into the air, staring at the ceiling.

Atta soon awoke when the moon was high in the night sky, she frowned and whiped her face, she looked at Abel, not looking away, not saying anything, just looked at him, her eyes filled with emotions. She felt her Mum on her, and it calmed her more. She was scared of what she relived.

Abel took another drag, he felt like a chain smoker his eyes were half open as he awaited the awakening of Atta. He had no idea she was actually already awake but he hadn't looked back. His sword was sitting between his legs leaned up against his left knee. He yawned, mumbling.

She didn't move just sat on the floor with her head against Atta "It was only your mom and dad's death Atta." Her voice sounded distant.

Atta's voice craked, she didnt look away from Abel, she knew he was only protecting her from the unseen, but she spoke to Mum,"What do you...mean...Mum.." she said her voice soft and also distant.

Abel blinked and tilted his head back spotting that Atta was awake. He didn't speak not wanting to be impolite, but smiled warmly, looking glad that she was awake. He slid his sword slowly into it's sheath and turned around to face her. Pinching his cigeratte close he put it into it's pack and slid that into his pocket.

She still never moved didn't blink and only took breath when she spoke "You were with your mother and father the night they were killed... their families disapproved and wanted them to leave each other. They protected you." Her voice cracked alittle but it was hard to notice "They were not supposed to have been out with you that night, I was the one who was supposed to take you out that night but I had fallen ill for a short period from an infection from a rusty sword the cut me when I was off fighting, it was my fault it should have been me with you that night, if I was there they would have lived longer.It was my fault." Her voice went soft toward the end.

Atta sighed and said weakily,"Its not your..fault..Mum..I know that..." She looked at Abel "Whats..wrong...Abel!? Why don't you talk to me any...more?" she begain to wonder she'd frietened him off from her, she didnt want to loose him. Not now...not ever...

"What? I'm sorry I just... Well I thought I'd give Lavender a chance to speak seeing as you asked her a question." He tried to smile apologetically. And slowly twisted back around leaning up against the couch, easily able to look upon Atta. He folded his arms across his chest. "And lets please not do another flashback..."

She was shaking alittle as she stood and walked away from Atta. "It should have been me Atta not your mom and dad, if it was me I could have convinced them to leave your parents alone and they would still be here." She kept her emotions very regulated very checked only the shaking showed her state of shock from being forced into her own subconcous for the memory "Most of us can not control when it happens Abel for alot of us it just does." She looked outside

"I still keep my promise" she whispered to Abel. She connected real well with him, for some reason, she can't quite place. She sat up on the couch, and caughed a bit, looking around. Her eyes narrowed and her head turned slowly as if looking to see if someone was about, she thought someone was, but maybe it was her mind playing tricks again,"I will try not too Abel...But like I mentioned before, they are involountary.." She wished he knew what she was going through, but many don't. "Don't be at fault Mum...Father told me why they killed them...It was because of their unforrbidin love, and a half breed, Me..." She sighed again, placing a gently hand on Abels shoulder not relizing she was.

"I am forbidden Atta! My blood union is forbidden the three are not supposed to mix. My mother was a crime against God and the Devil because her breeding. Its no reason to be killed. I conviced the people after my mother from god and the devil to leave her myself and my children alone I could have done the same for your parents. Thats why I was supposed to take you out that night, I have been watching your parents and I knew they would come with in those few days and I was supposed to take you where were you were to go but no I got injured and I blame myself for it." Her voice held pain and anger at herself she'd let herself down more that Atta. Her nails of her left hand were clutched to her right and dug in leaving blood trails falling to the floor

Abel's hand moved on reaction touching Atta's own as it was on his shoulder. He hardly noticed it happen. He felt sort of idiotic when he figured it's true that they weren't exactly done on purpose he was sure of that now after watching Atta's reaction to it all. He stood slowly, and sat down onto the couch as well, frowning. He pondered about all of what had happened...

Atta's hand never left his body, she felt safe with him and death there, "But..." she begain to question Mum, but trailed off, looking at Abel, she said to death,"Alright...I belive you, but please....dont blame yourself...its been centuries...Im much better than I was...I dont have those nightmares much anymore..." she truthfully told her.
