Yep, things are slightly more normal now. Of course, my insurance is much higher and I have a car payment- but at least we have transport and I can start earning moolah again. sweatdrop

Yeah, but that comes with insurance. Yup, the utility afforded by a car is worth it.
Wow, we got ice down here and the entire town/city was on standstill for a whole day yesterday. Nobody down here has salt to coat the roads with.

Yep . . . those not accustomed to ice panic when it hits. I know back where I was from (Southern Texas), they are getting small amounts of snow, and the town is in massive shutdown regularly. I mean . . . damn.

I think this is the first time in over 20 years that this area has gotten more than frost from what my co-workers have been saying. Ah well, it warms right back up down here. Did PA get hit with this weather system as well?

We've been hit with some cold snaps that were really intense. The day of my accident was one of them. It was -6 in the early afternoon, and that is before wind chill. Today was nice and warm . . . relatively speaking. It was juuuuuust above freezing. sweatdrop

Speaking of cold, It reached -20 at least once where I live. I think that's because we were in/near the polar vortex (whatever that is).

@Both: Whew, that's freezing!
*looks up Polar Vortex* Huh, an interesting element of the weather cycle... I can see why it being weak would cause such cold spells.

We had people abandoning their cars on the interstate where I'm from, it's better now, but it was super bad a few days ago. Not as bad as -20, but still waaaay colder that what we're used to.

Yes, that is one of my favorite shirts. It shows Autobots around "Mega Man" of Megatron . . . including Jazz Man (Jazz), Ratchet Man (Ratchet), and Grimm Man (Grimlock). I wub it. Here are the two versions that are out and about these days. I wish I had both . . .
As for the kitten, yeah. We got him when he was 8 hours old, and have been raising him since. He is about 5 weeks old at this point, maybe six. His name is Slade.

I have seen it, and am curious. I mean, we get to see that Crosshairs is a badass, we get to see that Grimlock and Strafe (swoop) are holy-hell-huge. What I want to know . . . is if Lockdown will be voiced by Lance Hendrickson again. That would be epic.

Is Slade's name a reference to Deathstroke, by any chance?
