Ah, so something to shake things up, on top of being awesome. Practically a Godzilla simulator at the point, which sounds really fun.

Yeah, that is a good way of thinking about it. Playing a giant brute that slams his way through things is massively different than the rest of the game. For instance, all characters have shields (100pts) and then your life (another 100). The shields will regenerate after a second or two of no damage. When you play as Grimlock, your life goes up to 500, and I believe the shields do the same. You can take a ton of punishment, and deal it out in spades. Then, as said, there are the instakill moves that are the robotic version of God of War level of brutal.

Just started another playthrough of Mass Effect 2 . . . and discovered the game recognizes me as having beat it before- so I got a massive boost in money and power. Nice to have little surprises. ^_^

New Game+ is always appreciated. 3nodding The craziest case I've seen was the Mega Man Battle Network series on the GBA; some games had up to 5 levels of New Game+.

Something I've always wondered about the dinobots is, What could they transform into before they could transform into dinos?

Swoop was a jet, and grimlock was some kind of tank. They don't really say what the others were, though.

Before they were dinos, they did not exist according to the G1 cartoon. Of course, IDW comics and others have allowed a bit of retconning to occur, so the group has a history now. They were a brutish team that Grimlock dubbed the "Lightning Strike Coalition Force"
Another option I am aware of was Cybertronian vehicular modes that were under the title of Dynobots.

*hoping this convo doesn't kill the refuge chat again* sweatdrop
Hasbro has worked with High Moon to say that the two games are to be treated as cannon . . . they are officially prequels for the G1 era. Rumors are circulating that there will be a third game off Cyberton, but that is not proven yet.

I don't know if I would be up to playing a game through five times . . . even a short one.

I don't know if I would be up to playing a game through five times . . . even a short one. Yeah, I only ever did 1 extra run. It's a lot, but there are some people who are dedicated enough or just want the extra content that much.
