Bakura wasn't sure if he should say anything, jerk away from Ember, or anything, and instead tried to make himself stop. Before he could wipe away his tears, Atem came into the room. Bakura could see the pharaoh's eyes widen first in shock, then narrow as he smirked. "Oh, poor little Bakura." Atem sneered mockingly, taking advantage quickly of this small moment of weakness Bakura showed, not caring about the reason. "What's the matter? Are you worried about your hikari? No, of course not. You've always been the emotionless little soul stealer. Where'd you go wrong?"
Bakura tensed, glaring up with a look of the most hatred he ever had towards Atem. He got to his feet so quickly that the chair fell to the ground, faced Atem for a moment, his eyes slitted dangerously, but couldn't handle it. Something must have gone wrong. Biting his bottom lip so sharply that it quickly drew blood, he closed his eyes submissively, bowed his head, and turned to leave the room.

Ember glared angerly at atem and threw a paper ball at his head.

Atem turned back at Ember, an innocent expression on his face as Bakura left quickly. "What?"

Ember just shook her head then held up a piece of paper.it was an exsact portait of him.

"Woah..." Atem looked at it, as though afraid to touch it and ruin it somehow. "When did you do this?" Bakura went to Ryou's room. It hadn't taken long for the doctors to add a few stitches and otherwise patch the boy up. He wondered silently if he shouldn't be here, since he had just located this area by tracking Ryou because the boy was his hikari and not because a nurse told him or something. But he needed to be alone and nobody else but Ryou-- who was still unconscious-- was in there. Bakura pulled a chair up next to the hospital bed and put his head down on the mattress, struggling with his tears once more. He wouldn't cry. He couldn't. Not anymore, at least.

A young nurse passed by noticing bakura.She came in "Sir are you alright?" she asked softly.
((I wanna hook bakura up lol he desirves to be happy.))

[I'm feeling really awful for Bakura right now! gonk He should be with someone, but I just don't know who.]
Bakura knew he could finish this all. How easy it would be. He already had four of the seven Millennium Items; the Ring, his personal favorite, the Scale and Key, little 'gifts' from Khalid, and the Rod, his newest addition. He could go hunt down Ishizu and get her Necklace easily enough, and then go after Atem and Kira. He had been with those two enough to know what made them weak. He could just threaten the mortals, Ryou and Ember and Yugi and Kawi, and force them to hand over their items. Then he would have them all. What he always wanted, right? What he had been trapped inside the Millennium Ring for. What had killed him before. Was it worth it, now? Had he grown attached to the earth and the mortals and everything? What would his life be if he gave up his quest to obtain the Millennium Items? No, he shouldn't be thinking these kinds of things. He was going to get them. All of them. It was destined to happen sooner or later. He would find the ultimate darkness, he would own it. There would be no more confusion, no more worrying about mortals and no more tears.
Bakura looked up when he heard a voice. He dully wondered how he looked; probably like some weak mortal. He wiped away the tears that stained his pale cheeks and shook his head. "Is anybody?" He responded to the nurse's question with one of his own. "That quickly?" Atem asked in surprise. "Or was I gone longer than I thought?"

'you were gone for half an hour' she wrote.
The nurse shook her head "No I guess not.Nothings perfect or alright and nothing shall ever be." she pulled up a chair sitting beside him.

"Oh! I bet I didn't even tell you where I had gone, right?" Atem asked, wondering if Ember had even been filled in on what happened when she was comatose.
Bakura kept his head bowed, thinking about how silly it was that here he was, a spirit given a virtually immortal life, talking to a random person who happened to be walking past. "Of course not. Everybody, no matter how much they might protest otherwise, have emotions and still feel, right?" He asked, thinking about himself. Atem's words still stung.

"But why now?" Bakura muttered to himself, then was silent. After a few minutes he shifted positions so that his head was resting against the nurse's shoulder and sighed.

"Say, what was Bakura's problem earlier?" Atem asked a little cautiously, remembering the angry look on both Bakura and Ember's faces. Bakura sighed again, closing his eyes. "I'm as bad as Atem." He scolded himself softly. "I don't even know you, but here you are being nice to me. You don't know a single thing about me and if you did, I'm pretty sure you wouldn't want to be in the same room as me. Why are you being nice?"
