@Kestin: Normally bugs me too, but like you said - in this case, makes sense.
Re: Nim's issue - suicide prevention is a good thing. Sometimes (definitely NOT all the time, but sometimes) all someone needs is to talk. But...seems kind of like they're just doing so for the sake of having done something, which isn't right. =/

Honestly.
I'm more pissed about it because the day after she passed away, our school principal said that people who knew her could take a break from classes to congregate and mourn.
Of course, people took advantage.
Most of the people who went to the grotto were just laughing, chatting, and texting.
It was so wrong.
Not unexpected, but just plain wrong.
EDIT: She hung herself.

so i was having a bit of a lonely night yesterday.
i was supposed to go out, but my friend bailed on me and i started to realize how much i miss having a boyfriend.
so i decided to try the whole online dating shindig. here's how it went down:

It's sad that the highlight of my day was accidentally clogging the toilet with paper.
My dad was whining about it because he said he didn't trust me at home if I managed to clog the toilet.
I yelled back, "I'm sorry I'm bleeding out of my v****a!"

In my only non-magical story, it's a futuristic world. Not obnoxiously advanced, with lasers or anything.....
But there has been genetic mutation where a woman won't go through that normally. If children are wanted, a pill is taken to trigger.
Mostly for the amusement of having a character read about it and cringe at the thought.
