DJ could see the small town of Pallet. He could see something going on. "Charizard land there!" DJ yelled over the wind. Charizard descended from the sky crashing down away from the small group. Charizard let out a roar and a wheeze. DJ petted and stroked her neck. "Good girl, good girl. Wanna go fly around without the weight?" Charizard licked her trainer and flew off. DJ ran up to DJ and looked at the guy and stopped in his tracks. "Hey that looks like..." when he saw Maddy he dared not finish that sentence.

~Sanctus Espiritus... He jumped out of the way of both attacks, no problem. "I understand it's hard for you... But if you don't learn to control your inner self than you will lose to your sister when the time comes..."Maddy stopped and turned to look at her Father. "I'll beat her without it then...""You still need to be able to control the demon that resides within you. Otherwise you'll just lose yourself the moment she dies..." He said, his eyes filled with sorrow. He obviously didn't want this for either of his children.She looked down, thinking. "What do you mean? I'll... lose myself?"He merely kept silent. I silently hoped DJ's arrival on the scene wouldn't complicate matters further. Other than that, so far there were no possible "interruptions." Nonetheless, I kept my blade ready. There was just too much tension in the air to put it away.
What a pain... If we don't stop Maddy's sister, she'll just attack again. If we do stop her, then Maddy will 'lose herself?'

DJ didnt know what was going on and whether or not if this man was a threat or not. He looked to Thard and Ginji, "What's going on?" He looked at Maddy and could see that she was very upset.

~Sanctus Espiritus... The words of the prophecy rang through Maddy's head. "One star must fade, the other shall grow..."He looked at Maddy. "There is a rule behind how the blood of half-demon siblings works..." He began. "If one sibling dies, the other acquires the blood of the deceased... They become a full demon...""So Courtney doesn't want to kill me because of my destructive destiny... She just wants power..." Everything began to make sense to her. "Wait... Which 'star' am I?" So that was it. If Courtney dies, Maddy inherits the full demonic blood. But she has enough trouble controlling her demonic side as it is... the full blood would overwhelm her. She would lose her 'self.'
Deciding to step out, I felt this was as good a time as any to ask. "Hello. Is there anything else you can tell us about the war of succession that seems to have spilled into this world?"

The Tyranitar hybrid lets out a large yawn and looks around at his company. He was surrounded by a large group of Slowpoke, and they all had their tails dipped in the water,including Dark.
"These guys sure know how to relax..." He thinks to himself.

~Sanctus Espiritus... He merely shrugged. "The quickest way to stop them is to find the true ruler of the demon realm, but even I do not know who that is. Other than that, there's really nothing else to tell. Until the gates are closed they can come and go as they please."Maddy was on her knees, feeling completely miserable. Killing her sister wasn't what was bothering her though. She did not want to lose herself to the demon blood that resided within her. And even if she did take control of it, she did not want to outlive her friends. "How... do I control it?" She asked, looking at her Father. Her eyes were back to their normal purple.He frowned. "That is something I cannot help you with. It's a battle only you can fight. It is clear that right now you do not have the strength to fight it, but believe me, you are only maturing as a demon. The opportunity to control it will come to you soon enough, it's up to you to recognize that opportunity and seize it." He looked at Ginji. DJ started piecing together the situation. He stepped forward to Maddy, trying not to interrupt. "Maddy, I think I know a way to subdue you becoming a full demon... its not definite... just an idea..." DJ looked at Thard and Ginji, maybe they had come up with ideas also.

Ginji shrugged mildly as he remained leaned up against the tree. "That I would be." he answered, stepping away from the tree and towards the relatives.

From the look in DJ's eyes, I figured he was looking for input. Shrugging, I simply tell him, "Not my area of expertise." But then an idea came to me, so I turned to Maddy and asked, "Hey, what about that book you've been working on? Think there's anything in there that could help?"

He said, a slight smile on his face.Maddy thought for a second. "The book... is full of dark magic. I guess I could look into it further. I've really only been working on the translation. Haven't started absorbing the info just yet."He let out a sigh. "I must leave soon. Maddy, all I can say is keep your anger and sadness under control. "If you have nothing else that can help us fight the other demons, then I guess that's it. Although I am curious. What element do you represent?" Perhaps it was a silly question, but it isn't often you get to speak with a demon king. I balanced the flat of my sword on my shoulder as I awaited his response.

With that, he vanished into a wisp of black smoke.Maddy blinked. "Another reason as to why I'm compatible with the Shaids Virus." She sighed. She turned to the others. "Well that was... interesting.
