why is everybody picking on claru about his weapon?

Where it was found/Who made it: In a rock outside suna. Immediately after midnight when the moon shone just right. All mimsy were the borogoves.

The Range of the weapon: Melee
Weakness: Really flashy, but dull. It can't kill anything that really exists. If the genjutsu is higher rank than you are you may still get out, but are stunned for 3 posts.
Description: This sword was used to kill the jabberwocky, but thats beside the point. In the naruto universe it is used by taijutsu specialists as a defense against genjutsu. The swords only ability is that it can cut through genjutsu as if they had been kai'd out of. It cannot cut the genjutsu of the kurama clan as it only cuts through things that do not actually exist. If hit by a normal or physical thing apart from its sheath it will travel right through causing no damage. Only genjutsu of someone equal to or below your rank may be cut. It cannot cut instant genjutsu such as the ones that cause sleep.
Rp Sample:
This genjutsu user thought he had Empty exactly where he wanted him. He was from the cloud village. Suddenly he did handsigns for a jutsu that Empty had known was coming eventually. The internal spawn technique. Empty felt disturbed as the wormy tentacles slithered out of his body, but he pulled the vorpal sword from its sheath and stabbed himself. The other ninja thought he had committed suicide, but then Empty smiled and pulled out the sword. The genjutsu was gone and the sword left no injury. Empty still felt a little queasy, as his brain adjusted to not being stabbed. The opponent did a number of handsigns and suddenly a large number of storm clouds rolled in and it began to rain. it had not been at all damp before hand, so empty had a feeling it was fake. As a bolt of lightning fell from the sky he held the blade above his head and it was cut in half. The next on came from behind, and hit him in the calf. It certainly didn't feel fake. The rogue took advantage of this. Suddenly hundreds of tiny golden tendrils came around his back and latched onto Empties injuries. He doubled over as the electricity coarsed through his system. He could barely control his hand to cut them off. When he got back up slowly the cloud rogue was exhibiting demon level chakra. His upper body seemed warped. Claws sprouted from his hands, and his hair was glowing. This was Kitsunetsuki. The spiritual possession technique. Empty leapt at him. he laughed until empty cut him with the sword. No damage was actually done, but his genjutsu was dispelled. He fainted obviously not used to surviving what would have cut him in half with a normal weapon.
