How often do you usually rotate your items for? The last auction I won was up for a day with a whole batch of others.

In all honesty, I do try to put a new set of auctions up each day. I generally put them up for one day sales . . . sweatdrop

Is it wrong of me to bid up some of your auctions by a lot just so you'll get more revenue? mrgreen

The kids in Taiwan aren't that great, you need to worry about the Korean players and the Taipei players d:

Yoder: Is it wrong of me to deeply enjoy it? xd
The moral is that I do not like the idea of being stomped by those infinitely better than me. A good challenge, sure. But those that just waffle-stomp me because they can? Yeah, I'll pass.

Nope, then it works for me. xd
Sadly, e-sports (fighting games and RTSs mainly) have become so stratified in skill level due to some devoting so much time/energy to them.

Indeed, old friend. I don't begrudge them for putting energy into building skill. If anything, it is admirable. I mean, damn . . . case in point- I got into the Yu-Gi-Oh card game for a bit. Once i tried online, and the kid had a clown themed deck. He literally killed me in a single move. his skill and deck were refined to the point of taking 5/6 of my life points in his first turn. The moves were legal, and he did not cheat (near as I can tell), but still that confirmed my paranoia. Now take that to something exponentially more popular and entertaining like a video game, and yeah . . . I'd be dead in seconds. That is why I avoid online play.

Ah, I used to be into YuGiOh for a little while. I'm currently into CardFight Vanguard (horribly generic name, I know), which is balanced much better than Pokemon TCG, YGO, or Magic (mostly due to not having nearly as much power creep over time, though it is still a relatively young game).

eek I just had a kid threaten to report me unless I gave him back 80k from an auction. He claims the price was jacked, and said I owe him that much. Yeah . . . right.

I have to say card games usually do not grab me. At all. I think the cartoon/anime was what made me enjoy YGO. Then again, I didn't watch beyond the original series. Now I have a TON of cards that I have no use for. sweatdrop

Goodness, what behavior...
I'm not a fan of TCGs either, as the original show is what got me into YGO. CardFight Vanguard is the only other TCG I've gotten into (and I just so happen to be watching the anime of it, too). Yeah, that's always the problem with such things, that there's not anybody to play with after a while.

At the moment, I am getting back into tabletop games with a group of friends. I was told at our last meeting that I will be dragged "kicking and screaming" into Warhammer 40K. Honestly, I am not hopeful. Strategy is not my forte, and the thought of purchasing hundreds of little figures (that don't even move, much less transform!) does not appeal to me. sweatdrop

Ehh... miniatures have never appealed to me due to the high cost, especially when there a plenty of service-able video games and board games. Good luck, friend.

I'm a big fan of 40k, but I recognize that it isn't for everyone. The thing that appeals to me most about the hobby (as opposed to other figures, transforming or otherwise) is that I can actually make it my own, with its own look, its own personality, its own history, a roll of heroic (or villainous) deeds.
::coughs:: Well, that's how I see it at least, sorry 'bout the semi-rant.

It's not a bad game by any means, I just don't have the money (and friends who are also into it) to dedicate that much financially to a single hobby. My interests are varied, so I have to split my time between anime and video games.
I had a friend back in Junior High who was really into Warhammer, and I've played 1 or 2 matches using one of his other races (eldar vs dark eldar).
No problem at all, we welcome different opinions. smile
