I do catch wind of shows that I really am interested in, like the Gifted. I hear it is on Hulu, but we shall see. I really haven't looked yet.
At the moment, the need to wait for shows is grating on me. Waiting on new seasons of Overlord and MHA, waiting for new episodes of Reincarnated as a slime, and Goblin Slayer.

Slime was an unexpected surprise. The Magical World genre still has a lot of life left in it. Goblin Slayer is enjoyable after e1 (not that e1 is bad, I just wouldn't call it enjoyable IMO). Dark Fantasy doesn't get enough love.

Slime is certainly...unique. I like what is out thus far, and am eager for more.
GS is really quite graphic. I know the manga is way more so, but damn. It's that close to being a hentai in the first episode! O_O

The manga takes the content of episode 1 too far, for sure. The novel is the original work, but books can also get away w/ descriptions of things that cannot be drawn/animated/acted.

Hooray for Sunday! It means new content on both Crunchyroll and webtoon.

Wow, Goblin Slayer this week. I knew it'd get heavy again eventually, but that extended ending still shot has me worried despite the plot armor i'm sure the core cast has.

I hadn't watched it yet. I have both it and Reincarnated as a slime to enjoy today . . .
Really odd that I've been getting into synthwave and 80's style music for my writing lately. I find it kinda soothing and interesting for my mental state. I grew up in the 80s, so I can't be sure if this is nostalgia or just something that speaks to me.

I've also been enjoying Karakuri Circus this season, only on Amazon. It's from the creator of Ushio and Tora, which is on CrunchyRoll. Both are modern adaptions of 80-90s shonen battle manga.
I've also been into synthwave pretty heavily since discovering Resonance by Home several months ago. Nostalgia is definitely a heavy element, but many people enjoy it who weren't part of 80s culture (though to be fair, traces of 80s culture can still be felt today even disregarding nostalgia). I'm a 90s kid, but my siblings all being older than me meant I was exposed to lots of 80s.

Darksiders iii has my attention, though the embargo is making enjoying the story difficult.
The oddest thing happened yesterday. My store plays radio based on customer traffic, appealing as best as it can to who is expected to be shopping. They played synth. For the first time I've ever heard it. I was honestly surprised.

Are you watching a Let's Play of it?
Huh, that's interesting. I wonder how it came to that conclusion?
Working over the weekend is not fun...

The merger is basically over finally, and my contract that was goign to end this month has been extended to January so I have more time to transition to my replacement. Massive stress relief on both accounts. xp

Not so much a let's play as a search on youtube. If you put in a game title and "movie" in the search bar, many games can be enjoyed for the most part as a video. I've seen the entirety of the game's cinematics and story, and find that rather enjoyable. I do that often with several other games. Darksiders 1 and 2 are among them. As are the Legacy of Kain games and some others.
I'm very happy to hear that you are doing well, and particularly that you are less stressful. Not really sure what it would be like to have regular weekends off. As it stands, I can only depend on Thursdays. Mondays are regular, but it is not unheard of to make me work on those days.

Ah, yes, I always forget about that game movie type of video.
Fluctuating schedules are stressful in their own right, not that consulting is a 9-5er or anything.

I watch video game movies all the time. Lately, I've even started watching a guy that goes deep into the lore while telling the tale. Interesting.

Ah, that's a neat dual approach. I enjoyed Hollow Knight & a YTer does comedic lore videos on that.
