I'd heard a student passed away a week ago. I'd never met the girl who died, didn't want to ask what happened.
We just got a school-wide phonecall about a suicide prevention program the school wants to ********>.

They never do anything until it's too late. A girl at my old school hung herself because she was raped. The school knew the guy was sketchy but the only thing they did was tell everyone to delete him off facebook.

Oh, yes; and that'd solve everything. 'cause everyone knows that facebook is the source of all power, and confrontations (/sarcasm)
Seriously, though they knew he was sketchy and that's all they did? That's just messed up.
Also, I'm not too sure those suicide prevention programs even work; so all in all how can you really know? I wonder how they'd even be able to tell if the programs worked or not, I don't really know much about it; but today I heard a long discussion about suicide prevention programs. And it didn't really sound like they were too effective.

I do the exact same thing xp no worries My best friends ARE online friends. >.>'' ALL my friends are online friends. xd Normally it upsets me when people talk about online friends as though they don't really count as friends, but given your explanation, Shio, I get what you meant. ^^; Also, IMO, suicide prevention programs are bullshit. If someone really wants to do it, they're not gonna be stopped by some obnoxious touchy-feely psychobabble or whatever they do. Although I've heard of people who were going to off themselves but decided not to because of something someone said, so YMMV, I guess.
