"I suppose we do." Reeve smiled a bit. "Perhaps the road was differetn, but the destiantion seems to be the same. If I might ask... Why are you in such a way?" He tilted his head a bt. "That is, unless it is uncomfortable for you to say."

Tilting her head, she thought for a moment on what he said, but could not sort out what he meant. "I am sorry, I do not understand what you are asking."

Reeve chuckled a bit. "I worded it oddly didn't I? I tend to do that sometimes... I ment to ask why you hide what you feel away." He scrated under the blindfold a bit, a little bit embarassed.

With a small nod, she smiled with understanding. Inhaling deeply she replied. "There are many reasons. The one that I value most is control." she went silent after saying that.

"Control? How very interesting." Reeve laughed slightly as he coninued to walk. Once he started to feel unfamiliar to the place he began to walk with his cane once again.

She forced a smirk, but was not able to hold it for more than a moment. Noticing that Reeve had taken to using his cane, she let herself fall back just a little to make sure she did not get in his way. She took this opportunity to change the subject. "Do you know this path well?"

"No, we have walked further than I normally do. From here on I have no idea where I'm going." Reeve knew that she had changed the subject, but he also felt a slight air of discomfort, so he dropped it all together.

"If you wish to return to the city or where we began, I can help with that. I do not know this area much at all but can get us to somewhere familiar." she said softly. She appreciated that he did not press the subject but because of that she felt more inspired to share. she allowed another moment of silence to pass before explaining some.

"I will admit my emotions are strongly tied in to the rest of my talents. If I am to feel any emotions to the extreme, it can .. cause unfavorable reactions. As I do not wish to do anything that I do not wish to do, I try to remain calm whenever possible."

Reeve smiled and stopped suddenly. He turned around to face her. "I will leave that up to you. Personally, I'm not the kind of person to car too much." He smiled and listened to the silence once more, this time allowing her to be the first to speak. He listened to what she had to say, then tilted his head a bit. "That is a good reason I suppose. That either means your a great magician... or not a very good one." He chuckled lightly. Of course he did not actually mean what he said, but sometimes he said things without thinking.

Standing beside Reeve since he had stopped walking, she felt her cheeks go red. "It .. is a bit of both. I am sorry if this has raised concerns. Knowing this, if you wish for me to leave, I will understand." she dropped her eyes to the ground, feeling incredibly shy now.

Reeve tilted his head a bit. "What kind of person do you think I am? So your power is based off of your emotions and can sometimes get a little bit hard to manage. That is just one of the many obstacles that fate throws at us." He smiled a bit as he dug the end of his can into the ground once again. He leaned on it, thinking about something for a moment. "It probably makes you see things from a different point of view too... allowing you to be such a good coversationalist..." The last part was just a thought he had out loud, he once again seemed to be in his own little world.

Pulling her feet together, she stood her full height for a moment, staring into the distance. She cupped one hand in the other over her abdomen. She lowered her head though, pondering his words and feeling shy again. "I suppose. Though I must admit you seem to give so many compliments. I must say it feels a bit awkward since I'm not really great at anything." she turned away from Reeve, staring into the night sky. "So many things to ponder."

"Hmm..." Reeve turned around and began to walk again. "I came to find, when I became blind, that believing in myself was the only thing that helped me improve with anything. I left no doubt in my mind that I could live without my sight, so I excelled in being able to move without my eyes. I even managed to figure out a way to use the only skill I was ever born with." He continued to walk, his cane as his guide. "But as time went on, I found that it was harder to belive in myself with others did not believe in themselfs. So, by complimenting a person, I actually allow myself to improve. It's also my futile attepmt to make a person more cheerful..." At this point Reeve no longer cared if she was listening, or even there for that matter. He was mostly talking to give himself a justification on how he was.

Turning to face him once more, she too set in to motion as he began to walk again. Listening to his thoughts she nodded in agreement. Her posture changed again though, showing that her confidence and happiness was draining from her. She allowed the silence to pass for a long moment before replying. "I find it far easier to help others than to do things for myself. There are many things that I am able to do with great ease, everything else I can learn with very little practice .. eh ..." she paused for a moment, not wanting to continue talking about herself. "Sorry. I must sound so ungrateful and boastful. I appreciate what you are saying and trying to be cheerful."

"That just shows that you don't belive in your own abilities." Reeve smiled slightly. "I am sorry if I am bringing you down. My downfall is that, when I speak, I tend to make people feel worse. My mind goes into far too many directions..." He trailed off a bit. He walked in silence for a moment before speaking. "It is okay to boast, and I don't mind people being ungreatful. The problem I have is when people are blessed with the ability to overcome, but still think lowly of themselves. As I said before, we took different roads, but still ended up hiding what we really are in the end." Small blood dropletts started to come out of the bottom of his blindfold. Very quickly he wiped them away, trying to make sure she would not see.
