*looks up to wave at Ryzan and then looks over to Icy.* I'm doing well enough, it would be a little easier if my car would be ready from the shop, but at least I have my portal transportation as a back up for emergencies if need be. Got all my gift shopping done, getting most of y holiday cards out, though sadly it seems no one has taken much notice of the flyer I put up by the bulletin board about those. I have a holiday party/ handfast to go to later this week and a birthday party along with it. The holiday is treating me well enough. How about you? That seems to be quite a bundle of packages you have on the bar there. *looks questioningly at Razz's singing*

*Gets up bows and pushes the piano out.*

*shakes head at Liada, brow furrowed in understanding*

Well, I don't have the ability to use portals, but I completely understand not having the safety and luxury of your car! gonk That has got to be a real pain hon. I hope it doesn't take too much longer for you to get our car back. At least you're keeping yourself busy, and your portal seems to be a reliable source of secondary transport. wink

*turns back to Ryzan and leads him to the counter, taking her seat back up*

Yea, I was a bit surprised myself, since I did complain about all the paperwork I was working so hard to catch up on. sweatdrop I slept like a baby after you left, that I can assure you. Unfortunately though, I slept the whole day away. stressed But, it was needed and I think I'm back on schedule. Would you care for something to drink?

*turns back around to Liada*

At least you managed to get your schedule straightened out quickly enough. It can take both Quortek and I a while if we are thrown off somehow sweatdrop

*as he's thinking about what he'd like to drink, he hears Liada answer first and smile*
I think what Liada asked for would be just fine if it is not too mzilt trouble.

I am surprised you would even use an automobile with such a convenient secondary means of travel. Is there something about your ability that makes it not quite as reliable?

*smiling, she takes her empty cup around the bar with her and sets to work on Liada and Ryzans drinks, as well as a second one for her. Rinsing her mug out in the sink, she places it in there and grabs three fresh ones, adding the necessary ingredients to each cup. Done, she sets Ryzan drink in front of him, picking up her and Liadas, and coming from behind the counter. Placing Liadas in front of her, she once again takes her seat back up on the corner stool, listening to the current conversation*

*shrugs as she smiles in thanks to Icy for the drink and turns back to Ryzan* I've noticed that Leko and I seem to have similar abilities from what I've been told by others even though she and I have never met each other previously in years before. I find it amusing. But as for my portals its a similar sense of needing to have been there before, but I can also use items that have been there before too, for example say you've given me a book that was from your chambers. I use the essence that comes off the book and use that as a medium for my portals to pop me there. If a strong barrier is set up in those chambers though I'd kicked back out of my portal faster than a jack rabbit running from a hunter. It has its ups and downs. And there have been moments when using my portals has taken me into some awkward situations which is one of the biggest reasons I refrain from using them. sweatdrop As for learning to drive its not so hard, except sticks I suck at those. And if there's any a time you might need to be behind the wheel it comes in handy to know your stuff
