DJ started running toward the staircase until a gastly blocked his path. DJ quickly slid underneath it. A Haunter appeared in front of him. DJ backed up and the Haunter began to glow. Suddenly an orb shot out of its body. DJ quickly jumped out of the way. He looked at the Haunter and its purple colored body began to change to black. It seemed as if it was either powering up. But then it changed into a Gengar. "Wait... wait... THAT'S NOT SUPPOSE TO HAPPEN!!" DJ shouted. The Gengar was fully black and laughing.

Sammy screamed eerily as a Haunter used Lick on her. "Get away, you creep! I'm not a viable mate for you!!" she roared, scampering backwards. The one bad thing about being half pokemon: some viewed you as an "option", if you know what I mean. She quickly ducked beneath the pokemon and began running towards the exit.

"Hmm.... Machoke, Hippopotas, get back..." Tommy scratched his chin as he was sent summersaulting backwards into the brambles. "Stoopid Dusclops..." Tommy muttered. He noticed the Dusclops change into the same color as the Gengar, also evolving into a Dusknoir. "Oh Crap." Tommy rushed back to the rest of the group.

To dance gracefully and stun the minds of your opponents...Memo was having slight difficulty weaving in and around all the Ghost pokemon. He spun and flipped his way next to Arreku. "What do we do?!" Is the way a young Acrobat kills his enemies...

Dante ran past a Gastly, and was then pushed down the stairs by a Misdreavus. He tumpled down the stairs, and came to a crash at the bottem where he reached the rest of the team.
"Ouch!... wait... is that what I think it is?" Dante asked looking at the black Gengar.

Adam threw out Epsilon, as Loki took a stance next to the Scyther. "Steady..." Adam called to his pokemon, like some Captain or Colonel. Who decided on that spelling? Colonel...

Sammy tried to avoid the ghost pokemon at all costs; she wasn't comfortable around large groups of pokemon when there weren't enough people around to beat all of them. "Let's get the hell out of here!" she suggested as a scream, coming to a stop beside Memo.

There's no such cat in the metropolis, who holds all the pieces in monopoly,
Arekku looked over to Memo, "I don't know... but we should fight back if they are going to attack us...." A Shadow Ball was lobbed at him from a Haunter, but Arekku hit it back with his staff. The Haunter was hit in the face with the reversed attack. A few other ghost types noticed and turned to him. He was hit by another Gengar then hit hard by multiple other Ghost attacks. He fell to a crumpled heap against the wall behind him.
for performing surprising illusions, and creating eccentric confusion.

To dance gracefully and stun the minds of your opponents...Memo went back to back with Sammy. "Man..." He shot his gaze everywhere. "This is intense! Any ideas!?" The boy then noticed Arreku being attacked. "Arreku!" Is the way a young Acrobat kills his enemies...

DJ looked around and decided that he had to fight to clear the staircase. "Chimchar, let's go!"
Pokemon Battle: Chimchar VS Gengar
DJ pointed to the Gengar, and commanded the Fire pokemon to use Nasty Plot. Chimchar stuck up his middle finger and started stepping backward. Gengar's eyes turned and then floated to Chimchar trying to use Lick. The attack missed. "Chimchar, follow up with your ember attack!" Chimchar jumped up and down and let out a stream of fire that seemed powerful enough to pass off as a flamethrower. The Gengar screamed and backed up. The Gengar started to hold his head and he turned back to its dark purple. "Chimchar it looks confused! Try Ember again!" Chimchar shot out flames again only this time it seemed to be at its normal power. The Gengar was burned and started to retreat.
DJ turned and yelled, "HEY! Staircase is cleared!"

Sammy jumped instinctively in front of Arekku, clawing back at the ghost pokemon that were trying to attack him. When that proved uneffective, she began to shoot bolts of electricity at them. "Memo! Get everyone out of here! I've got Arekku!" she assured, growling at the other pokemon.

To dance gracefully and stun the minds of your opponents..."Yes Maam!" Memo threw some kunai with strings attached on them to make a wall of some sorts. They seemed to have talisman papers on them that warded off the Ghost pokemon, but it wouldn't hold for long. "Everyone to the staircase!" Memo ran by Sammy and helped her get across with Arreku. Is the way a young Acrobat kills his enemies...

"I won't argue with that!" Adam shouted, Epsilon slashing at a ghost with X-Scissor, before flying off with Adam and Loki as they bolted for the stairway.
