"Believe me, Elfy, no one demands payment after a night in my arms," Fir Darrig said with a lewd wink. "Perhaps you'd like to see for yourself? Regardless, Wannabe Fianna, what you're after isn't what you think it is...that goes for the title and the woman as well."
"Why is that?" Kitaria asked the woman, "What about this intrigued you?"

Eara shrugged. "A sense." she replied honestly. "Confusion. I want to know why any bard would forsake his path I suppose, or at least one of his dearest companions. Most bard would forget their horse before forgetting or neglecting an instrument.... and besides, if he really is any good, or has true bardic abilities, I want to hear for myself. He'll need training somehow."
Gwyllion shook his head. "You offer all you want, Fir, but none of our family is so easy. If you want in my good graces, you could start by calling me by my name." he narrowed his eyes. "I trust where my path has led me, Korred, but why exactly do you say that?"

"For the Bard then?" Kitaria asked, "And after we find him? What will you do then?"
Fir Darrigs smiled. "Because its the truth," he said bluntly, "Every culture has its dark secrets. The Fianna were no different. Most are blind to it, but to make a long story short, I know things about the three tribes only a handful of Korreds and Kitaria herself know of. Things she really would kill me for saying to the wrong person. She keeps tabs on me for a reason, Elfy. I'm not trying to turncoat you, just laying out the facts for you, since you seem so dedicated."

Gwyllion smiled a bit. "Well even our family has its secrets... What good would it do me to judge them? They did what they must as any society does I suppose. I figured she kept you around for situations like this... So how did you find out these things, hmn? You're too young to have seen for yourself."
"Teach him." Eara answered. "Keep him safe. Teach him how to use his bardic ability... the songs, the traditions... He'll go through the entire process, even if it's all compacted into less time than usual. He's awfully old for a new student, but he already has enough potential... There will probably be very little for me to teach him asides from control."

"Despite popular belief, I'm not completely incompetant," Fr Darrig said with a smirk, "And if I told you the inner workings of my organizations, I'd either have to induct you or kill you. Security and all that. Suffice to say, I use knowledge as much as muscle or magic and I unearthed a few things I wasn't supposed to know. That no one except the leaders of the three tribes are supposed to know."
"You might have some competition, then," Kitaria said, glancing back to Fir Darrig, who gave the woman a saucy grin. "Remember what he said about music first being developed for sacred purposes? Korreds are quite knowledgeable about the arts, and extremly skilled by default."

Eara glanced over her shoulder at the Korred, narrowing her eyes. "Music and poetry are my life." she answered Kitaria bluntly. "He may be extremely skilled, but he has other things in his life he focuses on. Being a bard has always been first and foremost for me---I don't run little gangs, or run around sleeping with everyone I meet. He can bring the competition and set it at my feet. If I cannot beat it, then I'll acquiesce, but I'll be damned if he tries to induct him into his crew of rebels." She was loud enough that both men could easily hear her.
Gwyllion only smiled. He was content with that answer, and now that Eara was interjecting, it moved the subject off the heavier things. "Sounds like she's making a challenge."

"You presume much, Little Flower," Fir Darrig said with a smile, strolling over to the woman, now that the conversation with Gwyllion was at an end. "We'll see what this boy, no youth, will do. A human adolscent. I understand their minds more than you, I'll wager. And like I said before, I'm great with kids, especially teens."
Fir Darrigs was always up for a challenge, and even more he was a oppurtunist to the extreme. Kitaria was spot on when she had predicted the Korred would try and add the Bard into his "collection."
Kitaria ignored the brewing custody battle and continued to lead the group onwards

"Hah!" Eara placed her hands on her hips. "You may be great with kids, but if you think Mor's going to allow you to recruit them, you have another thing coming." "Does have a point. From what Vinnie said, she was awfully protective of the kids until they disappeared. She's been searching for a while, but with things on her lover's planet as they are..." Eara nodded. "No wonder she hasn't found them yet. She just barely managed to find us." Gwyllion smiled. "Perhaps finding isn't necessarily her strongest talent." Eara nodded. "Probably not. Either way, he'll take to both of us more likely than not. Bards get along with one another for the---ehhh...." she frowned, thinking it over. "For the most part, I suppose... Either way, you're not inducting him, Fir."

"Oh?" Fir Darrig asked with a smirk, "And if he wants to be inducted. What then, hmm? My Little Flower, you make it sound as if I am some type of demon or cult leader. Why must you presume my orginization is such a bad thing, when all you know is I led it? I have skilled Bards, too, you know."

Eara shook her head. "Why anyone would want to join your crew is beyond the knowledge I have." she answered. "It's hard to have any respect for someone who hardly has any respect himself, let alone acts like such a rag-tag street-urchin like you. If your members are as violent as Morrigan when you wanted HER to join, and as crazy as you are, that certainly can't be any good. Besides, do you really want to bring your crew into the problems these guys've been having?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. "Between all the enemies this crew has been attracting.... We have Nagaroi, aliens, from what Vincent told us on the trip some sort of demon-king... You REALLY want to get involved in all that?" She had raised eyebrows. "You don't strike me as the type that enjoys getting IN trouble, even if you do like to cause it."

Fir Darrig smirked, "Whoever said anything about getting all of my crew involved? And you thinkeach member is the same little model, stright off a factory line, you'd be dead wrong, Little Flower. My organization has been going strong for over fifty years now, and while that doesn't seem very long by your standards, it is most of my life and for a harmonous coexistence of elfs and humans, it is a good deal of time."
He smirked. "And if this crew's been getting into such a heap of trouble, wouldn't it be better for the childrens' sake if they just...dissappeared. I can do that, you know."

"Ashuri and I will attempt to lead Aled away from the city. I think though... perhaps we should send them to Beppu, it's in the Ouita Prefecture on the island of Kyuushuu. They can relax there, free from worry. Beppu is the onsen capital of Japan." Po-ar replied. "They always have tourists, so we could get them a uchiyu rotenbun. That way, no one will notice anything strange about them... especially Aoikage."

Arashi nodded, "Agreed. There is an American saying that goes, 'Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.' and I trust you to realize that saying goes doubly for me." she smirked slightly, "Keep in mind, Garren-san, that it is my piece of the cauldron you are using..."

"One of Aled's weaknesses, Kaguyo-chan... is women." Ainsu replied. "If you recall, it was his love of Ashuri-san's friend Marori-san that started a lot of this mess in the first place. Granted, Aled was evil before then... but because of their rebellion... They were able to kill Aled the first time. I doubt he'll make the same mistake again." the Tarnb-jin sighed. "Either way, I doubt he'll be so forgiving for you again either. The same goes for Morrigan-san. He tried to win you both over with his charms." he stopped, thinking on that for a moment. "Charms..." Ainsu's dark eyes brightened, "Kaguyo-chan... do you think... I mean... would it work to have Darrig-san try and charm Aled? At least enough to give us an advantage of surprise, I mean?"

Kaguyo thought carefully. "It might work." she smiled. "It just might work. No harm in trying right?" She paced a bit. "If his weakness is women, though, why did he kiss you the way he did? From what you told me, it sounded kinda graphic..."
Garren chuckled. "Well, I'll tell you everything I know, dear, don't worry. In fact, as we speak, Herne is going to check on a few things he didn't really go into detail about, but I'm sure he'll be back before too long. Naturally you know I have much respect for you and your piece, Arashi. I won't use you for it."
Morrigan nodded. "Doesn't sound like a bad idea either, for anyone involved. It sounds like it would be nice to visit ourselves one of these days." she smiled slightly. "We'll keep them all safe."
Eara nodded. "Alright. You have me there, Korred, I'll grant you that." she sighed with a slight smirk. "But the kids aren't the only ones we have to worry about. They still have another kid, Aoikage, we have to hide too."

Ainsu actually blushed slightly, "Must you remind me?" he asked before smiling. "If you want me honest opinion, Kaguyo-chan... Aled isn't very particular. Women are his weakness, yes... but I suppose the same could be said for beautiful men as well."
~ ~ ~
The woman laughed ever so slightly, "For some reason, Garren-san... I find that hard to believe."

Po-ar nodded, "Besides, we can have a nice vacation there when we go to pick them up after this is all over."

Morrigan beamed. "I would like that." she agreed quietly, too excited to raise her voice. She bit her lip, thinking it over with great desire; a vacation wasn't something she had in a long, long time. "It would be good for everyone, I think."
Kaguyo raised an eyebrow, smirking. "And you ARE quiet a beautiful boy, buddy." she alliterated with a small kiss to his nose. "Who knows, he'll probably try to get to you next, hmm?"
Garren shook his head. "Think what you want, woman, but I won't lie to you. I was honest about this, wasn't I? Give me time, I show you."
