...woops, my bad, I guess I paraphrased the riddle
I'll give it to ya Red, but the one I was thinking of was 'the sound barrier'
I think the original was 'What can only be broken once'...but I'm not sure
NEXT!
EDIT: Whoo! First post on page 400!

Tch... should've picked a harder one.
Hm... the brothers comment could be answered by their both being girls... beyond that, I'm not sure...

no, they are not
and I do not believe that the gender of the doctor and/or lawyer matters in the grand scheme of things

*snaps fingers* nuts.
The gender proposal came from the idea that "just because there are no brothers does not mean there could be no sisters."
But if it's on the wrong track, it's on the wrong track. Let's see... what else could explain it...?

no, NOW you're on the wrong track...the lawyer was saying that (doctor) and (lawyer) as a pair have no brothers...
wow, this is harder than I thought...Go internet!
(sorry, I cheated because I couldn't think of a good riddle)

"Same year, month, day, and minute"... no mention of hour...
I might be splitting hairs here, but does that make a difference?
EDIT: No worries; I found mine online too, 'cause the one that came to mind on its own was too easy.

Let me compile what we know so far first:
The provided information states that the pair were born on the same year, month, day, and minute, in the same room of the same hospital and have the same parents. The two of them are not twins and have no brothers.
From my failed guesses, we have also gathered that they are not sisters, and they are, in fact, separate people.
...
Alright, I'll take the hint.

They are similar to twins, but yet are not twins
is that enough?

If this turns out to be a semantics thing, I'm gonna be ticked.
Fraternal twins are still twins, even if they're not identical twins... so I'm not sure if I know anything that's "similar" yet still not...
confused I do believe you beat me with this one Mabo.

Triplets
The doctor and lawyer have a SISTER triplet, which technically makes them not twins, but rather, 2 of the 3 triplets
If I hadn't closed the tab I'd send a link to the page...I'll try to find it quick
