Valco:
"hahaha yes i feel the power"
the ounce beautiful lake started to change.
the varius forms of life around the lake suddenly twisted and morphed into horific creatures.
the lake itself turned black.
the ounce crystal clear water now a black vile sludge.
the trees all died.
shrubs and bushes replaced with black barbs and chains.
the very souls of the lake burst from the ground in chains screaming in there torment.
"HAHAHA YES.....NOTHING CCAN STOP ME NOW" his voice had changed to a deeper more horrifying tone.
even a daemon would fear the sight.
his body started to morph and mishape.
barbed chains burst from his skin.
he grew to at least 7 feet tall.
he no longer looked even slighly human.
he was a bleeding bunch of barbs spokes and metal.
his eyes were all that remained.
at that very moment a silver halberd flew through ther air and hit him right in the chest.
"GWAH i thought you were dead" the beast screamed.
there stood Gwendar and gren.
gren immediately helping Nebride to her feet.
"THIS IS WHERE YOU DIE YOU FOUL MONSTROSITY" Gwendar shouted.
recalling his halberd.
"BY THE LIGHT OF HARMONY AND THE EMPEROR I SHALL SMIGHT YOU INTO THE FOUL ABYSS YOU CAME FROM!!!!"
he stood strong he had never felt stronger in his life.
light practically shone from him.
his halberd glowing.
his armour took on a new shine.
he looked like the witch hunters of old. those who truly fought for the people.

"Gren?..." Nebride sighed as she leaned against her. "I...I'm glad you came." She pulled away from Gren, slightly unsteady on her feet. "I'm sorry Gwendar--it was the only way I could protect you."

((( BATTLE SCENE)))
the sky itself seemed to darken around this beast.
Various monstrosity's seemed to cluster around watching the battle about to ensue.
gwendar waited knowing a single mistake would mean his life.
the large chain beast that he ahd fought before lunged at him.
it encircled him in its fangs.
the barbds cut his skin but he managed to get free and slice deep into the creature.
the wounds no longer healed because he used his halberd.
he quickly jumped on the thrashing creature and carved deep into its supposed head.
the beast soon fell to a mass of black metal and died.
Valco growled angrily and proceeded to form a large Mace out of chains.
gwendar looked at him ready.

"I have to do something," Nebride muttered to herself. She looked to the side and spotted the three spirits watching. Jeroviah held up his hands, made a motion as if someting was coming out of them, and pointed to Gwendar.
Nebride knew immediatly what he meant. Jeroviah's spirit had given Gwendar the elven magic that it possessed. "My God.." she whispered. "No wonder he is shining."
"GWENDAR! LOOK WITHIN YOURSELF! YOU HAVE THE POWER TO USE OUR MAGIC! THINK OF SOMETHING THAT MAKES YOU COMPLETLY HAPPY AND THE MAGIC WILL WORK FOR YOU!" Nebride shouted
((okay...be back in 20 minutes!)

gwendar had heard what nebride had said.
he tryed to use his magic.
he thought about when he and nebride had met.
he focused his power onto his weapon.
his weapon swirled with power.
he felt 10 feet tall (he didnt actually get bigger)
he lunged at valco.
valco however managed to block his halberd with his weapon which was now a sword.
valco swung around with surprising speed.
gwendar only just managed to move his halberd in time to block the blow.
he only then had to swing the halberd again to parry yet another blow.
he soon realized he had to get away before valco got hte better of him.
he jumped away doing a full flip in the air. he had never been this agile before.
he landed firmly on his feet only to hurl his weapon ounce again.
valco not only dodged the blow but also summoned several large chain like figures from the ground.
they all carried swords or axes and seemed to twitch with every step.

"NO!" Nebride shouted. Several figures rose before her and attacked the ones that Valco had summoned. They were not evenly matched, Valco's being more powerful than her own, but everytime they were killed more appeared. No matter what Valco tried, her's always came back.
"Keep that thought Gwendar! Don't let go!" Nebride exclaimed as she staggered back. A wind that Valco sent her way knocked her over.

gwendar shouted in rage as he saw nebride get hurt.
he lunged at vlad and thrust his halberd into his heart.
valco screamed in torment.
gwendar had won he had killed the beast.
valcos screaming soon turned into laughter.
gwendar tried to pull the halberd out but to no avail valco had tricked him.
"WHY ARNT YOU DEAD"
valco simply laughed and plunged his sword through gwendars shoulder.
he spat blood as he was soon hurled onto the ground several metres away.
he could barly stand but he still got up.
only to be kicked another few meters again.

"Now's the time." Nebride muttered as she closed her eyes. "Powers that be in heaven and earth---turn on him who has betrayed thy power!" She shouted. Spirits rose from the earth and attacked Valco swerving inside then out of him. They were pissed. They had granted him this power--and he was using it to kill.
"Gwendar! Get up!" Lights flew from Nebride's hands and into Gwendar, healing him. She gasped for breath as more energy was taken from her. "I....I can't last much longer."

((srry for the late post)))
Valco started to twist and turn
light started to burn through the chains he was now made of.
but something was rong.
he wasnt dieing.
valco twisted and turned glaring at nebride
soonm the light stopped and he regained his composure.
"YOULLE PAY FOR THAT!!!" he shouted and grabbed nebride by her neck.
gwendar usuing the last of his strength through his halberd slicing off the arm holding her.
it grew back but now valco was walking toward gwendar ignoring Nebride.

Nebride gasped as she massaged her neck. "No," she whispered as Valco stalked towards Gwendar. The spirits stood between Gwendar and Valco creating a shield. No magic--dark or shadow could get past the barrier of souls. "At least...at least Gwendar is safe."

with that Valco turned around
"haha fine u can die first" he said walking toward her.
however before he even took another step a mighty blast of light hurled valco into the ground.
with that a large griffon landed on the ground.
a massive figure walked off and stood in front of Nebride.
"IM AFRAID THAT POSITION IS FOR YOU VALCO" the emperor said.

Nebride looked up at the emperor. She hadn't seen him in years, not since her parents had died. "He...he still looks the same. He hasn't changed after all these years." She sagged a little more and gasped. Nebride had used much magic when she was week, and that was a bad idea for a shaman to do when they were weak. She breathed heavily.

Emperor:
he saw as his paladins landed nearbye.
he turned to see valco summoning several dark chain like beasts.
he quickly ordered the griffons to battle these hideous creatures.
he then picked up his war hammer.
the hammer was almost pure gold but was enchanted with powerful holy magic.
it was literally weighed half a ton. but he had wielded it many a time. and it felt like a feather in his hands.
it was then that valco let out a dark shrill and the sky itself screamed with him.
he grew larger bursts of chains swirling around to form a much larger chain beast
it was valco he could tell by the eyes.
the other paladins started to fight the beast (vlaco).
meanwhile the emperor grabbed Nebride lifting her up gently and placed her out of harms way.
he saw Gwendar trapped within the elfs magic.
"YOURE TIME IS NOT UP YET WITCH HUNTER!" he bellowed
he walked up to the shield and placed his hand upon it.
"BY THE LIGHT OF HARMONY AND THE POWER I HOLD AS EMPEROR I DEMAND YOU FREE THIS WARRIOR SO HE MAY OUNCE AGAIN SERVE ME!!!!"
and with that the shield vanished.
the emperor soon turned around to face the real threat VACLO

Nebride looked at the emperor with surprise as he lifted her to safety and then freed Gwendar. "I can do at least this one last thing to help them."
She looked back to the lake. "Souls of the lake! Go back to your resting place! Be free of your bond!" Nebride watched as the souls began to flow out of Valco. They entered the lake, making it shine. Not all of them made it out, but most of them did.
Nebride sighed with relief as she fell into unconciousness.

Emperor:
valco soon lunged at the emperor.
he stood firm and strong.
valco had ounce again formed into his man like form. he had lost some of his power.
the emperors hammer and valcos sword met each other in mid air.
with a mighty thrust the emperor pushed valco away from him.
with that he brought the war hammer high above his head.
and with all his might he brought the weapon down upon valco.
valco managed to dodge the blow however.
the force of the hammer hitting the ground cracked the very earth.
and shook the ground itself.
Vallco went to strike at the emperor only to find a paladin to move in front of him.
the paladin managed to land his mace directly on valcos head.
he staggered back however he was far from dead.
soon another paladin with a claymore (BIG SWORD) struck valco.
valco had had enough and plunged a sword into the chest of a paladin
the blow may have wounded the man but he grabbed valco and pushed him to the ground.
as valco looked up he saw the emperor.
the emperor raised his war hammer to the sky.
a bolt of lighting hit the hammer and the sky itself gleamed rays of light.
" U SHALL PERISH BY MY MIGHT AS EMPEROR!!!"
and with that he brought down the hammer smashing valcos head into the ground.
the dark powers within valcos body exploded with intense fury. sending all the paladins into the air.
only the emperor remained standing firm.
"it is over" he said quietly.
he turned around to look at the witch hunter the elf and the girl.
his paladins stood back up and tended to there injured brethren.
"YOU HAVE DONE THIS LAND A GREAT SERVICE"
he looked more carefully at the elf.
he remembered her.
"you......you are the girl your parents guarded this lake."
he realized he had killed her parents.
"i assure you your parents died with honor facing me" he said
he was not one to be emotional.
he keeled near the dying paladin.
"You have died in my service it was an honor fighting with you"
the paladin smiled and spat up blood.
"get him back to the fortress he shall live to fight again" the emperor said.
"Vordun you stay her with me i wish to talk to these citizens"
the other paladins soon departed.
only the emperor and another large paladin stayed behind.
