Fire burned dimly around his claws and tail, but he was calm again.

He Shifted back to his human form, then altered the barrier so that they could get out again. After everyone was inside, he lit the fire again. It had gone out during the fight.
*I am sorry, Shaydra. Don't fake sleeping, I can tell by your breathing and your movement that your still awake. I didn't mean to be so rough, but if are all to survive we can be so trusting of others.*

Neoxis went to his room inside the lair. He was getting frustrated with all the failed attempts. all of a sudden he grinned at a thought in his head. 'if you can't beat em join em eh? I think thats just what I will do. but i cant just leave all my work behind. Well i think it is time for a new me. One that will do better.' he also thought about what the shapeshifter had said before. 'wait, if humans find out about the magical world, there will be people trying to kill us, just an expirement my butt. Thats it i'm breaking out of here.'
He released the spells on both himself and abbas and slowly stalked out of his room. He went into the throne room and was pleased that the shapeshifter was not there. Neoxis walked to a small stand and took the Universal Charm from where it was resting. After that he teleported back down to the ground not too far from the group, sat against a tree in the forest, and dozed off.

Shaydra flicked her tail in annoyance, pointedly facing away from Sigilos. "Why would we go to your house next, Josh?" she inquired.

Sigilos sat up, every scale on his body rustling.
*Shaydra! Did you hear that? It sounded like a transportation spell, and I smell potent magic. You where always better at finding out what exactly the magic was then I could, do you know what, or who that power belongs to?*

Shaydra stood up. "I did feel a slight vibration..." Her ears twitched once, and she snapped her head westward. "That way!" She crouched on all fours and ran in the direction of the setting sun.

Luxran had already been there when shaydra showed up. "What took you so long?" he asked with a smile. he looked around. "When i got here the person or creature was gone."
