"Come back shiny!!" Margy called out loudly, continuing to chase after the floating egg carrier. Sure it wasn't moving as fast as she was, but due to it's large size, it was moving fast enough to stay just out of her range.
"Wait for margy--margy just wants to play!" she called out loudly, waving her arms back and forth as she did so. When it came to Margy, stealth was usually not one of her good traits...
Skidding to a stop for a second, Margy stared at the egg carrier for a moment and seemed to ponder about it.
"The more margy chases it--the further it seems to get.." Margy whined. "Especially when Margy stops...so.."
Tilting her head to the side, the hyperactice hamster continued to think about it.
"Margy just need to get in front of it! But how...?" she questioned, only to give a shrug a second later and take chase again. "Wonder what it's like to ride...oooh! Margy really want to catch now--wait for margy please!!"
She called out, as if completely convinced that it would stop and wait for her.

Soul stopped, completely convinced he had no chance in catching up. He stared at the ship in the distance, drifting further and further away. A few people ran by him as he stopped to think just why people were taking off at this distance. Soul knew he was a good mile and a half from the Egg Carrier, so why are so many people completely convinced with running away. He started to ponder the use and weapons of the Machine. He recalled robots, but he didn't see anything from the ship. The Gigantic eye laser, but the ship faced the other way. It finally dawned on him that this is the time Eggman had actually first gone public with this new machine. Most people probably had expected to launch a nuke or some other large explosive. Sighing wistfully, he muttered something dark before looking at an apartment building. He felt strangely compelled to go inside and take advantage of the fact no one was in the vicinity, but vandalism never set well with him. Not to mention the fact he believed in some sort of Karma system. In any case, he decided to leave it alone, despite how he knew he would find an apartment that was more well off the it needed to be, and wouldn't blink twice over the loss of a computer or something similar. Kicking a piece of gravel that had become dislodged, he turned tot he Carrier. "I think the only place in all of Station Square that I'll ever run into Margy again is McDonalds. Or by Accident. Actually..." He turned down a street. "Margy may act young, but I'm sure she'll figure out the train station is the best place to meet up." He mumbled to himself.

Chasing the floating, shiny egg carrier for a bit longer, Margy skid to a stop and stared at it as it continued to get away from her. Despite how fast she was running, it always seemed to be just ahead of her.
"What is shiny thing? magic?" she questioned curiously, continuing to stare at it.
Truthfully, it wasn't magic at all--she had just failed to find any way of getting in front of it, mainly because her sense of direction was horrible, if there was anything she was doing--it was getting herself lost.
"Aww...poopie..." Margy mumbled to herself as she continued to stare at the slowly moving egg carrier--which she had failed to get in front of, still trying to figure out how to get in front of it.
"...chasing a shiny thing isn't fun without finds to chase it with--or play keep away with." Margy mumbled a second later, as if she had actually expected Soul or Stephanie to chase after the egg carrier with her.
"Margy knows! She go find soul-kun!" the hyper active hamster said happily. "And then we can both chase shiny...or maybe not.."
Tilting her head to the side, Margy attempted to figure out what Soul would have done.
"...margy doesn't know--but maybe Soul-kun has something fun to do!" the hamster exclaimed, her short attention span automatically turning to the thought of finding her lost hedgehog friend...who technically wasn't lost--she was.
"Soul-kun!!! Margy's coming to sa---find you!!" she called out loudly, before spinning around and running off in a random direction... hoping it would lead her to Soul, wherever he was. As she ran down in her unknown direction, Margy's mind began to run over how to find Soul-kun, and one thing made more sense--or could be heard clearly from all of the rest of her thoughts...it was a simple sound.
Choo-Choo! the sound of a train played through her mind, causing her to stop again.
"teh train! That's where Margy shall findeth Soul-kun!" Margy said happily, before looking around a bit. "...now which way to the choo-choo?"
The--now--confused, hyperactive hamster began to look around silently, before running off once again, heading in the direction that she thought would lead her to the train--as well as Soul.

Soul slowed from a run to a jog, and slowly to a walk as he reached the ocean-side station, and inwardly smiled at his position. He turned to the water and stretched a moment, enjoying the slight amount of exercise he was getting, and tried to make sure he wasn't going to pull any muscles. He eyed the entrance to Twinkle Park and remarked to himself that it must be dead in there - a very rare occurrence, considering it was also a resort and thus - open 24/7. Coughing a little to remove a little phlegm build up in his lungs, he spat it to his side and decided to head up to the station, which was surprisingly not in lockdown - probably because it needed to serve it's secondary purpose, the one Soul was here for - a good spot to reunite with anyone who is missing. He considered himself lucky he was closest to this station, as it was the one from the games.

Quickly rounding a corner, the hyperactive hamster began to rotate her lightly grip fists in a rotating manner as she quickly charged down the sidewalk--making train-like sound effects all the way there.
"Chugga Chugga Chugga Chugga! Choo Choo!" Margy called out loudly as she continued on her way, making the sound effects for no other reason than for her own amusement.
Sliding to a stop for a second, Margy began to glance around the area that she found herself.
"No sign of station yet..." Margy said, before blinking and beginning to sniff the air. "Margy smells...smells...salt." she blinked. "Margy smells the sea!!" she squealed out and quickly began to charge off in the direction of the station once again--this time without the sound effects.
After a few minutes of chasing after the salty scent trail that she had picked up, the hyperactive hamster let out a bit of a squeal as the station finally came into view.
"Station! Margy founds you!" she called out happily. "And maybe Soul-kun too."

Soul sat on the steps of the station, whistling the tune from Angel Island from the third Sonic game. He realized no one in the world had heard such beats as those from the Sonic franchise, and he wondered if he could recreate them for cash. It wouldn't be too hard... as long as he could learn some music. He wondered if the sheer idea of it would be considered a real life 'cheat code' of sorts. He yawned as his foot played with a piece of loose stone on the steps, letting the salty air from the sea tickle his taste buds in a minimal fashion.

"Station!" Margy cheered out happily as she finally arrived at the ocean-side station. Throwing her arms in the air happily, Margy squealed as she continued to make a b-line towards the station, before slamming her heels against the ground and skidding to a quick--and jerky--stop in front of the station's steps.
"Yahou watashi wa katase!! Margy wins!" Margy cheered out happily, not seeming to realize that there wasn't anything to win--seeing how she was racing herself there and there was no way that the station could move or run from her.
After cheering for a few minutes, Margy blinked and glanced beside--finally noticing Soul.
"Hooray!! Margy found soul-kun!" the hyperactive hamster cheered and quickly ran up the steps to join her friend.

Soul stood up and stretched. "Yeah, I thought you'd end up here sooner or later. It's a location from the game, so I thought it was a safe bet." He explained as he descended a few steps to meet her halfway. He had watched her little victory celebration and had taken the time to get used to the fact that Margy was just Margy all the time. "Anyway, it wasn't a good idea to just... run off like that, especially during and evacuation of all things." He warned. He stroked his chin as he formulated his next string, "Anyway, I left Stephanie behind at the house, considering she didn't give chase with me." He explained the absence of the third member of the group. "So I think we should head back first."

"But the shiny was calling Margy." Margy replied simply as she stared at Soul for a moment. "Though...Margy suppose she could have ignored the shiny and stayed with Soul-kun, it may have been smart-smart." The hamster said, giving a sudden nod, as if agreeing with her own statement--something she seemed to do a lot.
"Ooooh! That's why it's so familiar." Margy said. "At least, Margy thinks its familiar." the now confused hamster scratched her head for a moment as she attempted to figure out if the ocean station was familiar to her at all.
"Stephanie-chan no give chase? How come?" Margy questioned, completely forgetting about what she had been previously pondering. "Margy though Stephanie-chan wouldn't wish to be left behind--so we go back now?"
PostPosted: Sun Jun 07, 2009 5:22 pm

"Not sure. I thought she was right behind me when I chased after you." He explained, scratching the side of his quill. The red-brown hedgehog looked around a moment before hopping down the steps. "I suppose the best thing to do now is go back. It's a little past noon - I'm getting hungry." He admitted, before thinking about the clementines. Even so, they weren't that filling in the first place, and he had them just before going to bed, so it was only natural for the early riser to feel the need for food. "Hm. Hey Margy, if you've got some flexible morals, I know where we can get some food."

Glancing down at her stomach for a moment, which gave a bit of a rumble, Margy gently poked at it.
"Margy hear you stomach--but don't worry, Soul-kun is hungry too--so Margy can fill you soon, promise." Margy gave a wide grin as she glanced up towards Soul once again.
"Hiquuu?" Margy blinked at Soul's question. "What does Soul-kun have in mind? Margy will eat almost anything." she gave a quick nod.
Though that's all margy's sister's fault--but Margy'll leave that alone. the hamster thought to herself for a second.
"Huh? What what?" she questioned again. "...weird, Margy thought Stephanie-chan would follow to? Stephanie-chan no get lost?" she questioned, completely switching subjects. "No wait...that's margy..." she blinked for a moment. "Margy always gets lost."

Soul nodded in agreement. Margy always seemed to get herself lost. "The whole area is evacuated. If we wanted to grab some food supplies from empty markets and stuff, it'd be stealin', but at the very least we'd have some food." He said, crossing his arms. "It happens every evacuation, so it may as well be us then someone else who takes it just because they can. I'm outta food." He explained, before thinking it over. "I'll do whatever you decide here Margy. I don't exactly like the plan, but... at this point, I don't have the money to do much else, here." He explained the problem, now he just needed to input.

"It wouldn't be considered stealing if they didn't think anything was actually gone." Margy said, almost sounding intelligent for a second. "Margy and Soul-kun just need to find the inventory charts and change it to the amount that's left after we take what we need--then nobody will ever know." Margy gave a bit of a grin afterward.
"Besides..." Margy reached into the pockets of her overalls and pulled them out, revealing their lining. "...Margy is quit broke, Margy's money no follow her here." she stated rather childishly, quickly loosing the intelligence she seemed to have for a short second.
"Margy no like stealing either, but Margy no think we have much choice right now." she added in before giving a bit of a nod. "But... if Soul-kun doesn't want to get in trouble...Margy'll do it all on her own and be the one in trouble!" Her grin quickly widening.
