Now, now. That's just illogical. You brain controls your all of your main systems: respiratory, muscula-skeletal, nervous, and cardiovascular, just to name the major ones. You could not be alive if your brain was not functioning.

Your ability to read these posts proves that your temporal lobe is functioning correctly, since that is what controls your 5 senses and other semi-cognitive abilities. Perhaps you are merely fooling yourself? Psychological irregularities have been known to occur without any physical damage being done to the brain.

The temporal lobe is the part of your brain which rests directly next to your ear. You have two, one on either side. They control the 5 senses. Semi-cognitive means that you control them to a certain extent. Cognitive, means you control it completely. So, the "cognitive" part of your brain would be the part that you think with, the creative part of your brain. "Semi-cognitive" would be anything that you sort of control. For instance, your senses. You control where you look, but you don't control how your eye processes what it sees (in the form of light reflections) or how it transforms those reflections into what you are seeing as a picture. And "Non-cognitive" would refer to things like heartbeat, the systems I listed above, and other things happening in your body which you have no control over.

"Cognitive" parts of your brain are in the front, "Semi-cognitive" are in the middle, around your ears, and "Non-cognitive" parts are in the back of your brain, near your neck.
