the head of the spear went into lucius' arm. he laughed. "this is goin to be more fun than i thought." he said lookin at his wound. 'maybe shes the one who can save me' he thought. he snapped out of his trance and pulled out a vial of blood. he drank it. he then swung his sword at karty.

What is this guy? Karty thought, yanking he spear out and ducked to avoid Lucius' sword. Karty twirled her spear and swung it at Lucius' in a circular fashion. He strikes were quick but some-what predictable. Once someone figured out her fighting style it wasn't hard for them to predict all of her moves. That is, until she went in to werecat form. "Wait... are you a vampire?" Karty thought she'd smelt something off about the guy, but a vampire? That was unexpected.

"sure you can call it that. but im just a new breed of cetra." lucius said finishing the vial of blood. he licked his lips. he then slashed at karty but she dodged every swipe. 'shes predicting my movements.' lucius thought. he swung straight up.

Karty had jumped to dodge Lucius' other attacks. Then she saw his sword swing upward. Her first instinct was to panic but she didn't. Karty flipped backwards in the air, but didn't go far enough, the sword sliced across her ankle and she hit her back on the ground. Karty cringed and jumped back up, her ankle burning in pain. Quickly she tore off a peice of her cloack and wrapped the wound. "That'll have to hold until the battle's over," she murmured to herself, standing again and readying her spear.

lucius charged at karty his sword straight forward. at the last second he thrust it at her injured ankle.

Karty was slightly caught off guard but managed to swing her injured ankle up and out of the way just in time, taking it in to kick Lucius in the head. ((Yay head shots!! ^_^))

the foot connected with the side of his head. he flew sideways flippin onto his feet. he ran at karty in a rage.

Karty hopped backward and did a back-hand-spring to avoid Lucius' attacks. Karty then flipped up on to her hands and pushed herself in to the air. She did a few sumersaults in the air and appeared behind Lucius, her spear stuck in the ground in front of him.

lucius grabbed her spear and threw towards a tree. as soon as he let go he ran at her full force with the hilt facing karty. the dagger shone in the sun as the attack was bein made.

Karty was startled at the turn of events but didn't allow it to get to her. She made a few handsigns and the shadows surrounded her. there was a puff of smoke and she dissapeared in to the shadow. Then she rose up as a shadow behind Lucius and prepared to grab him and engulf him in the shadow. That is, if he didn't dodge...

lucius thrust his fist into the ground. "EARTHQUAKE!!" a huge hole formed in the ground. lucius vanished.

Karty scowled but didn't reform. Instead she dissapeared with a flash of black lightning. The shadows remained still. Including the one she hid in. where is this guy? she thought, knowing she'd need to reform soon.

lucius flew out of the ground under karty kneeing her in the jaw. he then thrust his other knee into her stomach.

Karty took the hit to the jaw and then dodged the knee to the stomach just in time so that Lucius' knee skimmed across her rib cage. Karty then landed on the grounded, 'adjusted' her jaw, and glared. "That's it..." she snarled, throwing off her cloack and transforming in to a black panther. She roared and lunged at Lucius.

lucius was still in the air when karty attacked. he fell back. he then elbowed the panther in the mouth as it bit at him.
