"Heh, thanks!" Mau said. Then he remembered the fish, and how hungry he was. "Errr... Could you do me a favor? Could you pass that fish over there?"
"Oh geez..." Fujiro said, smiling and shaking her ehad.

"Hot diggity!" Mau said, grinning. He reached for the nearest fish and started munching.
Fujiro laughed at Mau's acts and grabbed a fish. She then started eating, smiling at the same time. "Oh geez, these areg ood!"

"Thank, hic, you," Mau said and took the glass of water with a smile. He drained the cup and smiled broader, sastisfied. He thought he had no more hiccups, but... "Hic! Oh, hic, geez!"
"Hey, why don't you try holding your breath? I think you're supposed to hold your breath for like 30 seconds." Fujiro said, smiling as if she was amused.
"Err, okay! Hic!" Mau puffed out his cheeks and for 30 seconds, he held his breath. "Whew!" He let go and breathed heavily, believing again that his hiccups had hit the road, but... "Hic! Aww... man... Hic!"
"Haha..." Fujiro said with a huge smile. "Oh, and there's this other one, but I've been told it's really difficult, but very effective." Her smile turned mysterious.
"Give it to me!" Mau said, desprate for his hiccups to leave.
"Okay, um... You have to balance a cup full of orange juice on chopsticks for 2 minutes..." Fujiro said, making all this right on the spot
"O-hic-kay!" Mau grabbed a cup full of orange juice and chopsticks. He balanced the cup on top of the chopsticks for 2 minutes, when those 2 minutes were over, he looked anxiously at Fujiro. "Now what...?"
"Umm... Now you gotta put a raw egg in the orange juice. Then two eggs on the sides of the cup, all balancing on the chopsticks." Fujiro tried to sound very serious about this, biting her bottom lip so she wouldnt burst out laughing.
Mau did so and balanced it in a matter of time. "Next?"
"Err... Now you gotta put peanut butter in the orange juice, and bring me a cup of hot cocoa." Fujiro said, grinning.
"Hey!" Mau said, smiling. He didnt even notice that his hiccups were gone... "You made allthis up!"
"Heh, yeah, well, look, you got no more hiccups!"

"Heh, I guess it did!" Mau dropped the glass of orange juice, raw eggs, chopsticks, and peanut butter. "Oh geez..."
"Mau... Sadie just cleaned that up! Clean it up, Monkey Mau!" Fujiro said sternly, but she was smiling.
But Mau was alreayd on the floor wtih an old rag. The eggs had splattered everywhere, and the peanut butter and orange juice were moving around as fast as a virus. Mau pushed everything together into a pile and picked up the dirty chopsticks. Soon the floor looked as it did when he walked into the kitchen that mornign.
