trumpet dates gaurd, sax dates gaurd, hmm, oh yeah, pit dates drumline...im just listing people, not the whole section itself....i don't know if there really is anymore relationships in band...OH YEAH one time my friend said she was leaving to get some more food before a football game, and one of the people next to her took it in the wrong way, as if we were 'leaving each other', and that started a looot of things including 'the list'....pretty much dorky stuff, though...

Yeah, my boyfriend and I (of 2 years might I add...) are one of the many "band-lationships". In fact, our relationship began in band. He started as a trumpet, moved to French horn and marches mellophone. (He continues to play all of them in multiple band classes. What a band nerd!) I am a percussionist and play timpani/ snare (mainly) in concert/ symphonic and am Asst. Sectionleader/ Bassdrum Captain for two years now. My boyfriend is really pushing me to try out for tenors and he recently made Spirit from JSU (it's a drum and bugle corps fro those of you who are DCI illiterate!). So... needless to say...we are very musically involved.

Our main band-lationship is between a clarinet and a drummer.
But nothings really happened between them on a trip or anything. At least, nothing that we know of. O.o

there's one ongoin one at the moment....there used to be three but my friend and i broke up with our band bf's...well they broke up with us. now ppl tease me when we're in band or they bring up a memory from marching season and go oh you n Tim were still 2 gether then. it sux. i'm now biased on alto saxes...they all hate me...end of story

Im currently in a band-lationship with my drum major he's a junior and im a freshman so far so good 3nodding
But there was a long bandlationship like this alto sax player currently a freshman went out with the drum major (my bf) sad for 2 days in band camp then she dumped him and went to the 2nd chair trombone player the same day then after a month with the t-bone player she went to the brass section leader who plays trumpet then she dumped him went back to the t-bone player dumped him again and now is trying to go out with last years drum major who graduated last year!!! wow that was a mouth full and a big drama sweatdrop

lets see...i'm the drum major/bassoonist dating our top sax player/jazz piano player. hes a freshman and i'm a junior. my percussion friend was dating another percussionist but they just broke up. sad.
i think we're the only major band-lationship, there might be others but everyone just focuses on me and my boyfriend.

well im currently in a bandlationship with a trumpet 1st chair too mrgreen xp well anyways in our band there is bassoon and trumpet me and my relationship and a trombone and a flute but i think thats all i know of. mrgreen well anyways 3 days from now we will make 3 months!!! mrgreen heart
but shh dont tell my fellow bandmates because they dont know that we are going out. [except for all the girls. i noticed guys cant really tell if 2 people are going out]

I'm in a band-lationship right now. I play trumpet and he's a percussionist. I used to be in a band-lationship with a sax player. *sigh* and I admit I still like him. He was so awesome and perfect, but it didn't work out. It's a long story. There was a bunch of conflicts involving parents, my ex boyfriend, and God knows what else. Anyway, I'm happy with my current band-lationship. There have been a few band-lationships that I can think of.
-tuba/trumpet
-trumpet/trumpet
-trumpet/saxophone (my band-lationship that ended tragically)
-clarinet/bari sax
-clarinet/bass drum
-trumpet/ bass drum (my current band-lationship)
-flag/trombone

Yeah we have like a million...Bass Drum 1 dated EVERYONE IN GUARD!!! (including me last year...i am in indoor guard so i fit in that catagory)Drum major is a sucker for ninth graders...(eww he really is gross) Two of my best friends date Alto adn Trumpet...and ym boyfriend of 1 year is an alto...I'm a trombone...Drumline captain also dated pit section leader, and mello girl dated bari sax boy...and there have been a few inter pit relationships and we swear that cymbol chic is having an affair with the director(not really we just make fun of her cause she lives in his office during classes)

Oh yeah, nix on my bandlationship. that means that only my best friend is a trombone, not my boyfriend. whatever. Except, it sucks that I have to see him EVERY DAY.
Oh, now our 2nd chair drummer might go out with a saxophone? She's a year younger and acts about 6 years old, so I don't know.

My boyfriend's in drumline! <3 ^_^ Yep, our director has an innate ability to sense romance and a tendency to announce it to the entire band. Though, he has yet to bug us. Probably because Alex looks sort of scary when he doesn't smile... *huggies invisible boyfriend* Yay!
