Glory turned to see Franki's face from under her bangs. "...but...you're not as weak as me.....I act like baby..triping and falling over every single thing....I don't understand why I am a cardcaptor in the first place....." she mumbled.

::she rolls her eyes:: you're a card captor, dummy, cuz you've got a good heart... it doesn't matter if you're a clutz! heck, when i was younger i was more of a clutz than you were! my brothers called me "fallin Franki" ::shakes her head sadly:; stupid nickname, i know but we were just kids and i HATED it! then i meant teach ::she grins slighlty:: heh... and kinda started beatin on 'em, but that's not the point. the point is that you're stronger than you think... like your violin... you play like an angel, did you know that? i remember i heard a bit in the park the other night... didn't really stick around but it was still amazing... i admire someone who can play so well, it takes real talent and concentration.... you wouldn't have been able to play like that if you didn't have the heart to back it up. we're supposed to work together, Glory, that means we cover each other's weaknesses. you might not be all that athltic but i am, i can cover that area if need be. i'm not all that... uh... heh... subtle or diplomatic, but i'll bet you are... we all have own own strengths, we just need to see them and work a bit harder on our weaknesses.... is any of this making sense? sweatdrop

Glory gave a slight nod, still not looking up. As Franki spoke, some tears rolled down Glory's face. She was really touched by her kind words. IN thstant ory gave Franki a hug as she cried. "...thank you...." she said softly.

*Ran sat back, leaning back on his hands. It was quite a touching scene and he wouldn't dare interrupt. As he watched however, he could feel a sense of anxiety dwelling deep inside*
You know that they won't survive. Once we have the opportunity, they will both fall at your hands.
*Ran shook his head lightly and forced it back down. He wouldn't let Glory and Franki be hurt by anyone, even himself, if he could help it. He smiled lightly to mask his inner struggle and sat upright* So are we feeling a little better now? wink

Glory pulled away from Frankie, wiping her eyes of her tears. "...for making me feel better silly." she said sounding again like her old self. She turned around to Ran and went to hug him. "..and thank you too.." she said softly.

Huh? Oh..uh, yeah. *Ran hugged her back softly and smiled* It's really no problem at all.

*Ran felt his hand grip tightly on the back of Glory's shirt and quickly forced it back open. He wasn't going to give in to his negative self anymore. Not ever again. He looked at Glory and smiled warmly* If you ever to talk about something or need some help, just ask.

Glory looked up at Ran smiling....that smile really suited him. "Ok I will...." she replied again softly, her it expression coming back. She also gave a warm smile of her own...just before giving ran a tiny kiss on his cheek. She blushed immedietly wondering why the heck she did that and looked down for fear of blushing.

I uh...eh.. *Ran quickly looked to the side, his face a blasting red. He had never seen anything like that coming and was caught completely off guard. He rubbed his cheek with a finger and spoke with a nervously shakey voice* Eh heh...uh, great. sweatdrop

Glory didn't know if what he meant 'great' was to her promise.....or...to the kiss......she slowly stood, continuing to look down. "Um...I-I guess I should go...um...thank you...." her voice a bit shaky itself.

*Ran quickly got to his feet and grabbed Glory's small hand in his* N-No! You don't have to go! *Ran looked down at his hands around hers and felt his face burning red again* Well, uh, I mean...you can leave if you want to but...you can stay too... *He felt himself tripping over his own words* I guess I mean to say that...uh...I'd like it if you'd stay.... redface

A warm and thoughtful smile came upon Glory's face as Ran told her, he would like for her to stay. She gave a nod, her expression innocent and happy. "..sure...but I wouldn't want to be a bother though." she spoke kindly, not removing her hand from Ran.

::just as he says "you and Franki" she freezes, having made her way quitely almost to the door, unnoticed. she had been intending to slip out and give the lovebirds a moment alone. she glances at them real quick, to make sure they hadn't noticed her and takes another tip toed step toward the door, holding her breath. maybe she could get out before the atmosphere got anymore sickingly sweet...::
