Kashi1 Halbark lifted up his foot and took off, flying into the forest right outside of the town.He's right. No one but May and Minae could have knocked him out, but Sora was the only one there! Unless...No, that's impossible. ((May was there. She was the one about to be hit by Magick when Sora became all bodyguardish.))

Alianae bent away from Kalios, coughing. Then she fell to her knees and the next cough brought blood. Sarea went to her.
"You alright?"
"Yes..It's the wardens..." she trailed off. Sarea understood her anyway and helped Alianae to her feet. They walked towards the inn to find Kalco and Sora sprawled unconcious across the floor, underneath a small pile of..the roof.
"Oh, you've got to be joking." Sarea sighed.
Then looking to Alianae said, I knew there would be trouble.
At least..it's not as bad this time. Alianae replied with a slight smile. She frowned.
Halbark? Do you mind waiting outside next time?
Now it was Alianae's turn to sigh. She clapped her hands and beams of magic flew from them, making to roof whole again.

Sorry, I couldn't help it. I sensed that Kalco was in trouble, and I can't just come in through the front door!Halbark rested down on the ground.

Alianae smiled at that. Well..just try next time. And maybe send him your power? He might benifit from that.

Okay, I'll try.He sne tsome of his energy to Kalco, slowly falling asleep.
Kalco stirred.He sat up, leaning against the wall, holding his head. "Ugh...What just happened?" he looked around, spotting Sora's body." What happened to him?"

Alianae sighed. She and Sarea had been sitting like this (cross-legged) for almost an hour now.
"Oh, nothing. You both just fainted. S-Ruia thought it best to leave you like that."
Sarea, now posing as Ruia stood. "It's nice to see you're better. Let's see about getting Sora up too."

Sora grunted in his sleep, and opened his eyes, faint traces of residue Red Magick dancing along his pupils, giving a dreamy aura to what he was looking at. Then it cleared up, and he saw Kalco. His energy rushed back, and he scrabbled with his feet, trying to get away, while whispering a string of curses, some in phrases of the ancient language that even he didn't completely understand. After a second or so, he pointed at Kalco, while still trying to get away. "What is he doing here? That foul son of the future!" he said to Alianae and Ruia, while trying to contact Terra and Kalios.

Kalco's eyes widened. He knows! He laughed nervously. "The future? I-I have no idea what you're talking about!" He scratched the back of his head.

Alianae looked at Sora and said pointedly. "He is here because needs led him here. He is a Warden, Sora. A Warden. That is why. He may be of the future to come, but he has the blood of the Last Five Grey Folk. And kindly do not go around shouting out that particular fact."

"HE JUST TRIED TO KILL ME!" Sora shouted. "He said so himself! 'I will personally end your life'. How should I react to that? By accepting an apology! And if he's a Warden, why did he want to hurt, or possibly kill Kalios?"

Kalco was angered. "That was Du Fet Kithyen, or actually, the Shade who was pretending to be him! I was doing diddly squat, sitting in a cage, until when you said that I was from the future, so I broke out and killed him. Got it?" He smacked Sora over the head.

"And what? You let him dupe you? So, you're telling me that if I dress up as a snake and tell you to commit suicide, you'd do it? Just for some trust in that parasite of yours!" he said, and stood up, straightening his clothes. "I'm going back to the sparring grounds," he said, and contacted Kalios. After a second, his form quavered, and disappeared, only to reappear in front of Kalios.
"Somebody's feeling particularly murderous. And for once, it's not me," Kalios said when Sora got back.
Terra nodded her head in agreement. So, why did Kalco attack you? she asked.
To find out where Kalios was. I swear the kid thinks he's the ruler of the world just because of the Magick he holds. And then he hides behind the prospect of a Shade taking disguise as the Magick itself. He puts too much trust in things he doesn't understand! Sora replied.
Then maybe you need to rest for a while. You reek of Red Magick. I think the Magick itself is causing this sudden anger. Just get on my back, and sleep for a bit.
Fine, Sora said, and climbed up, strapping himself in the saddle, and then fell asleep, letting his body cleanse itself.
"I think I'm going to go over to the inn and ask Alianae and Ruia what truly happened," Kalios said, and left for the inn.
When he got there, he looked at the three in the hallway for a second, "So...Sora was really...well...weird, when he got back. May I ask what happened? Sora's insistent that Kalco did everything willing, but I'm not so sure." He sat down cross-legged, as Alianae and Ruia were, and waited for any of the three to tell what happened.

Sarea spoke in reply to Kalios after a short pause to phrase her words. "A shade slipped into Kalco's mind using hte guise of Du Fet Kithyen, most probably when Kalco first discovered it so he wouldn't have noticed a difference, or if he did, accredited it to the Magick. This shade...I have reason to believe he may be able to use some of the magicks himself...and that makes him all the more dangerous. Once the shade was in his mind, in his magick, Kalco was vunerable to it. Just before, it took over. And tried to kill the wardens." She turned to Alianae, "Like I said, I knew there would be trouble."
Alianae was frowning. "You can't mean.." she whispered softly but Sarea nodded before she coudl complete her sentence.
"Him."
