Oh, purdy piccus! o3o
Now about that second language thing.
It really depends on the age at which you
start to learn an new language.
I'm Dutch, but I moved to Canada about
4 years ago, and I'm fluent in both languages.
I've only spoken English since I moved here tho.
My parents, on the other hand, still have a hard
time speaking, understanding and reading English.
And my younger sister has completely forgotten
how to speak Dutch.
Just needed to put that out there... same. i moved to canada from hong kong when i was about 3.
my younger sisters now have an accent when they speak cantonese,
and my mom and dad are learning english.
i'm sloowwwly learning how to write chinese characters and learn PROPER cantonese. -SIGH- (so i can understand kanji >=] )
but alas, when i was very young, i was fluent in mandarin but i forgotten most of it T___T
my older brother is fluent in both english and cantonese. but im better at him in french. bwahahah
pirate my mom was really surprised because i won the english award when i graduated, and it wasn't my first language, nor was i born here.
