I don't care I take it seriously treust me one time I let that rumor spread. It was horrible it took my 2 years to clear it up.

If you feel scared then confront him and ask what is his motive does he want to be with her or does he want to be friends. Thats all you need to do. And if that doesn't help then just think of him as her brother.
