Draco blinked as he tried to explain, "My father would have a fit-- I can't just..." The lamia belatedly realized that if Hijiri didn't know who Lucius was, or what that implied, that mildly incoherant sentence would make even less sense than it did if you understood all the implications. Chances were, with Draco's luck, the cat wouldn't understand at all.

" 'Can't just sit so casually with filth like me?'" the violinist finished, but his smile never wavered. "Don't worry about it, though I don't really want to get you in trouble, yanno? I mean, I think it's all right, and I wouldn't mind your dad getting mad at me, but if you get into trouble, then I'd be sad."

"My father... has high standards," Draco muttered. "It's a... pureblood wizard thing," he shrugged. He... really didn't mind this cat. Just like he hadn't minded Kieran, really. But at the same time, he didn't know how to act... with Kieran, Draco had worried because he didn't think the coon could stand up to Lucius, but with this cat...
Well, Hijiri could probably give Lucius a run for his money if he tried hard enough.

The cat chuckled, snuggling Draco more. "Geez, Shuuichi'd hate him then. Though, Shuuichi's a fox and not a wizard and all, he just REALLY doesn't like when people judge on lineage and stuff."
Daringly, the violinist pressed a kiss to Draco's cheek. The lamia was really too cute-- it was nice to just flirt and hug like this (minus the fact that it was only Hijiri hugging and flirting).

Draco blinked and blushed more at the kiss-- he wasn't used to this. At all. Probably because no one really paid that much (positive) attention to the lamia, preferring to deal with more interesting characters. "Shuuichi is... another one of Kit-san's... anthros?" he managed in between being embarassed.

"Mmmyah," the violinist nodded-- he liked snuggling. He liked snuggling people who didn't get snuggled enough, for some reason (like Hisoka). "Shuuichi's a fox-- he's got two names or something like that, so we call him 'Rama too. Or Kurama. Shuuichi's his more human name or something like that. Kaine-chan likes picking on him, and Karasu'n him are on pretty bad terms or something. So 'Rama tries to stay home. So maybe he'll never meet your dad."
Hijiri smiled more at the lamia's blush-- Polite boys were fun. Polite boys that suddenly went snarky were even more fun.

It finally dawned on Draco that this boy's appearance was awfully familiar... "...you and Hisoka look a lot alike," Draco observed, blinking a little. It wasn't every day that he met someone who seemed so... alike in appearance and yet different in behavior. Then again, Draco didn't meet a new person everyday.

Hijiri gave a small laugh, snuggling even more. "Weird, isn't it? I guess this is what 'doppeldangers' are, or something like that. But I really love 'Soka, yanno? Even though he gets the better deal, I think."
By meeting Tsuzuki first, of course. The mental trauma the other kitten had been subjected to was far greater than some of the hell Hijiri had suffered through, so technically Hijiri had some things easier. And the violinist was well aware of this, hence his attempts to play nice.
"We're more different than night and day, but it's more interesting that way."

"Uh huh..." Draco muttered, thinking. It wasn't quite... normal. Two people who looked the same should act more alike-- or at least... who knew. Maybe they had some personality similarities Draco didn't notice. Or maybe it just didn't matter. "Do you have to be so... touchy-feely?" Draco asked, flushing more as just how entwined they were registered in the lamia's brain.

"Is that a bad thing? Being touchy-feely?" the violinist responded, snuggling more. "Hugs''re good for the soul!"

Draco blinked. "Well..." he paused, considering. No, it wasn't BAD, per se. But at the same time, it wasn't how Draco had been raised in the least. "It's not..." Normal? But then, maybe it was normal. The way Draco had been raised certainly wasn't normal by any accounts-- he was a Malfoy.

"It's not usually done?" Wow, it was like Hijiri could read Draco's mind or something. It might just be that Hijiri could read people reasonably well, and Draco wasn't exactly pokerfaced. "It's just my way of spreading the love~."

"That's... weird," Draco muttered, not entirely unhappy with it, but extraordinarily confused by it. "You're weird," he added after a moment's thought, but he wasn't struggling against Hijiri now.

Hijiri laughed, pressing another kiss to Draco's cheek. "Considering some of the things I've been called, that's a compliment. When d'ya think Kaine-chan's coming back? I don't want to keep you from whatever you were doing..."

Draco shrugged at that. "Kaine's flighty and a ditz-- he may have already forgotten about us," he explained with a heavy sigh. That would be just like Kaine... leaving Draco with this over-the-top guy...
