Oh, I'm only enjoying it because it's C.S. Lewis, and I really enjoy C.S. Lewis. I don't enjoy the actual process of going through the paper, because my teacher is being a total NAZI about the sources.....apparently, the authors I use need a degree and accreditation with a literary society to be vaild.....I don't think she'll actually check them, though, so I'm good. mrgreen

Hey. I'm nano-bumping this nearly dead thread so that we all still have our running....chat of sorts, I guess.

so--what's new?

I take a test tomorrow to see if I can move up to a checker position at work....it should go well, pray for me none the less.

and....my car stranded me downtown yesterday. It works fine now...my dad fixed it!

heck yes! I get to move from $7.73 and hour to AT LEAST $9.50.

I am excited.

oh man....so I found out today that my interview for my church internship program is tomorrow night....pray for me guys, I'm VERY nervous about this one. They will have all the current interns asking questions, and as I'm friends with them, they will have no problem asking me alot more in depth questions.... gonk So yeah. Nervousness.

ah! *thwaps pirate!* I am NOT!

it's techincally a bi-vocational leadership program. It's like a crash course in church service....it's a little different for each member, but man, it pushes you and forces you out of your confort zone. Former interns are now serving as youth pastors, nursery directors, kids chuch directors...all over the place. One became a missionary.

It's insane the amount of change one undergoes...the spiritual growth.

basically, we get the privilage of working our tails off (even more so than now, since I basically hang out with interns all the time anyway), and get our hands really dirty (in the hard work sense--lol) in minstry. It's an amazing program, and I have so much faith in it...And I would love the chance to be a part of it.

we shall see what happens of it.

and I am Not drowning kittens.
