"Ah well, Lantis, could you use Thunder?" Chloe requested of the legendary dragon behind her. Lantis nodded, and zapped back the Clampearl into the water.
Chloe rebaited her line, dropping it into the water again as she sighed, settling down again to fish.
"We'll get it eventually," she laughed.

Chloe's attention was once again drawn back to the kids on the beach. It seemed they had found a wild Poochyena, and were trying to capture it.
It didn't look like they were doing too good of a job, though.
"Phoey! It bounced off again!" one whined, as another girl stepped up with a Pokeball.
"My turn, my turn!" she announced, with a grin, holding the empty Pokeball up.
"You really think you have a chance?" one inquired, looking to the girl.
"Oh be quiet," the girl retorted, "I'm going to catch this Pokemon and make it my personal pet!" she announced, "Watch this!" she hurled the ball at the Poochyena. Her aim was true, the ball hit the canine right square on the forehead.
And bounced off.

Chloe winced as the canine was hit, but surprisingly, the Poochyena didn't attack. Chloe sighed, offering her pole to Entreri.
"Mind watching this for a sec?" she asked the Weavile. "If its a Feebas, call me, otherwise, you and Saku can handle any fish, right?"
The Weavile offered a toothy grin, saluting as he and Saku took up Chloe's spot.
Chloe hopped off the dock, motioning Daimon to follow her along the coast.
"Aw, it bounced off again!" the girl whined, "Why does it keep doing that?"
"Haha, you can't catch Pokemon like that," Chloe grinned, joining the group of kids.
"First you've gotta weaken the Pokemon, then you throw a Pokeball," she explained.

"For instance, try this," Chloe grinned, motioning to Daimon. The Kingdra jumped from the water, to join alongside Chloe. The kids scattered, gathering behind Chloe as she faced off against the Poochyena.
"Alright, Dai, use Signal Beam," Chloe instructed, knowing that due to Poochyena's resistance, the attack wouldn't be enough to do the canine in, no matter its level.
Daimon nodded, concentrating as an orb of energy flashed briefly before him. He fired the blast off after it had time to charge, striking the Poochyena.
The small canine wobbled, seeming disoriented.
"Wow!" one kid exclaimed, "It looks dizzy!"
"Right," Chloe grinned. "Now that its weakened, I throw a Pokeball!" She pulled a spare Pokeball from her bag, throwing it at the Poochyena. The canine vanished into the ball, struggling for a moment, before the ball stilled.
"Alright!" one of the kids grinned, as Chloe picked up the Pokeball, handing it to the little girl.
"That was awesome!" she beamed, "Thanks lady!" The kids soon scattered to the Pokecenter, going to heal the canine, then go off and play.

Smiling faintly to himself, he continued until he was a few feet away from the dock, now standing on a patch of ice, despite the warm climate of Lilycove. He scurried back to the dock, knowing that frozen salt water would melt fast in the warm water surrounding it.
