Hedoro had left the food stand and wandered around for a moment, before finding a secluded spot where she could eat without anyone watching. Admittedly she was just being paranoid, but it never hurt to be careful. One of her gloves stretched out, past her sleeve, exposing the substance of her arm. Sliding the piece of pizza inside, it was swallowed up and now she could digest it when she was really hungry. It'd stay almost as fresh as it was right now, something she was rather thankful for, even though she barely had a sense of taste.
Fixing her arm, she walked over to one of the game stands and decided to give it a second chance. She had pretty bad luck yesterday at this game, but maybe today would be different? She set down five tokens and picked up the dolls, aiming carefully before whipping them at the small van.
(25(start)-5(cost)+0(hit)+0(bonus)=20)
Well, that clinched it. This definitely wasn't her game. Each doll had went wide, none had even gone close. She probably could have done better if she had thrown blind. Oh well, she felt more confident in the other game anyways. Making her way over to the other booth, she checked her remaining tokens.

Still feeling rather groggy, Mirael walked around, taking a short, quick break from her Shoot the Web! game. Looking at all the signs, she saw a raffle was being held and looked at her tokens. She had quite a lot so she figured she may as well buy some. Going up to Deejack's vendor thing, she slid in ten tokens, receiving her ten raffle tickets and storing them carefully into her pocket, as to not lose them.
Token count: -10 tokens + 133 total tokens = 123 tokens

Hedoro left the one game stand and returned to the one she'd spent so much time at the other day. With some degree of amusement, she thought to herself, And here I thought if I'd be an addict anywhere, it'd be the streets, not a school. Oh well.
Finding a comfortable position, she got ready to spend quite a bit of time at the stand.

That was more like it. She hit two out of the three targets, much better than zero out of four. Odds would have said it should be the other way around, but luck was luck. She left her winnings on the table, and slid two tokens over to pay for her next round.

Hedoro had left the webshooter on from the last round; she knew she was going to play again. She realized if this kept up, she'd be hopelessly addicted to the game, but it was fun, so she didn't try too hard. Plus, the festival couldn't go on forever, right? When it ended, she'd go back to normal. She hoped. Shaking her head, she cleared out some of the distracting thoughts, and got ready to play.

But apparantly not enough. She did pretty lousy, not a single hit. She tried to focus herself, to not think of things that'd make her mess up like that. It was hard, though, so she tried, instead, to focus on the game.

Hedoro squinted her eyes behind theshades and other bits of disguise, measuring the distance to the targets with an eye that was starting to learnt he basics of telemetry and the like. Raising her arm, she aimed carefully, before slowly hitting the trigger.

That seems to have done the trick, she managed to hit two of the targets. Again, she left her winnings on the counter, she'd spend them soon enough. Readying herself for the next round, she focused on the three targets that seemed to grow more and more important.

Hedoro got ready as the targets reset for the next round. She thought back on all her previous rounds of the game, trying to anticpate the best course of action. Certain patterns may repeat themselves, so she tried to notice which one was the most likely. Raising her arm, she hit the trigger and fired.

Well, so much for patterns. She'd missed all three targets that time, if it weren't for bonus tokens she'd have lost even more. As it was, she was at about the same amount she was at when she started the games today. Maybe the next round would net her a profit?

8/23, Play 3: She didn't like the odds of this game. Mirael REALLY did not like the odds of this game. But alas, she was getting desperate and she needed her tokens. Her goal was the 500 for the star, something she almost craved. That is how bad she wanted tokens. Breathing out slowly to keep calm about this, she slid 10 tokens in the vendor and took control of the little girl, aiming to shoot the targets along the way. Or hoping, at least. Alas, she could only hit one of the targets and the bear had eaten up the poor little stripe-shirted girl. She ended up losing four tokens, as she had hit a target earning back 2 as well as received a bonus. But still, FOUR TOKENS. She was done with this game for now and for forever. Or until curiousity brought her back.
Token count: 2 tokens won - 10 tokens played + 4 bonus tokens + 123 total tokens = 119 tokens

Woohoo! Two in this time! Hikaru smiled as the ten tokens for her win, plus three bonus tokens, came sliding her way. Sliding five of them back, she grabbed the dolls and tossed them toward the van again.

Hedoro noticed it was starting to get a little busy again, more people were starting to show up. She tried to ignore them, and readied herself for the next round of her chosen game. Her arm was already in position, swaying slightly as she tried to let it stay loose and flexible.

She managed to break even, no profit and no loss. Kind of a pointless round, but better than missing everything like she'd done a few times already. She shoved her winnings back at the vendor and got ready for the next round.
