darth603 CavDirshel Last I read they had fluff through mid 125 M.42 written up and that was the death of someone. Currently though it appears as though the GW writers are going back and dealing with the Badab War and the Necrotyr right now. Anyways, fluffwise the Emperor will die when he finally gives up hope for the curropt Imperium, the Illuminati will then sacrifice all of the Sensei into the Golden Throne and the Emperor will be reborn as the Star Child, a being who is the embodiment of all that is good with the human race and is incapible of being tempted by the Chaos Gods in any way, shape or form. Basically the Emperor will become the god the Imperium has built him up to be. Assuming Tzeentch doesn't get in the way... there's talk that Tzeentch is responsible for the Emperor's entombment in the Golden Throne, and that if Horus had successfully killed him, he would've ascended as a sixth Chaos god and been uber powerful. Anyway, the Sensei and Illuminati were almost all wiped out by the Inquisition because it was discovered that Tzeentch had contaminated it. The Star Child Cult is effectively dead. Actually fluffwise it's impossible for a Sensei to be curropted, as they are fractions of the Emperor's purist spirit they are incapible of having the negative emotions that the Chaos Gods need in order to dominate someone. The Cult of the Star Child that was killed was just on one planet and that's because it was actually a Tzeentch Cult that was being used to defame the Illuminati and their quest. Besides, at any one time more than half the Inqusition is being used in some way by one or more of the Chaos Gods to do their will. You have to remember that the Chaos Gods want each other dead almost as much as they want the Emperor destroyed.

That's possible... considering how "complex" the inner workings of the Imperium are, its not hard to believe. But weren't 90% of the Illuminati on that world when the Inquisition purged it?

Yah but what if he wad pronounced dead they do not have a plan to control the masses or who would take his place until he is reincarnated and comes of age or if he neve becomes reincarnated. The Imperium would have no plans. Would it be like what happend to the Eldar?

Actually the whole High Lord system is set up as if he was dead, so in other words until someone can come along proving they are the reincarnated Emperor the High Lords'll run the Imperium like nothing happened.

Its the marines based on the books. The whole "5 men take on an army and win" scenario.
Sarge is something like WS/BS 6, INT 6, STR/TOUGH 6.
A missile launcher is assault 2. Krak is AP1 STR 10. Frag STR 6 AP 4 5inch blast.
Bolter is assault 4. Storm bolter is assault 8.
Theyre just insane! Basic marine is 100 pts. Sarge is 230. A missile launcher guy is 250 I think. And theres a guy called "Space marine dude" who is 170.

Oh. And a flamer is "Target a unit. All models are hit and take a wound on 4+" Its just rediculous.
And Lascannons are ST10, automatically kill anything (regardless of double toughness or not) and shoot through things. Like you can hit a tank, shoot through it, and hit another.
