"So you're saying you're the devil?" He said with a puzzeled look, wondering where this is going and whether this information was true. The idea of the devil in human form made thousands of questions flood his head, though he stared back at Jagger calmly.

Jagger smiled a tender smile and said,"Perhaps..Are you afraid?"her voice calm and understanding.

"No" He said smile staring back at Jagger. He assumed that she would believe to be appauled by this piece of information and would leave her, but as he had said many times he would not leave her if she needed him.

Jagger turned to Alexander with disbeilef in her eyes.She gazed at him then felt the corners of her mouth begin to turn up.Before she even knew what she was doing,she wrapped both of her arms around his neck and closed her eyes,feeling for the first time...happy.
"I'm not as evil as everyone wants me to be.."she whispered and felt a tear run down her cheek.

He hugged her back as she threw her arms around his neck, trying to comfort her. He let her go, lifting her chin up, noticing a tear running down her cheek, looking into her eyes; "You are not evil, Jagger. No matter what anybody else says." He said before giving her a gentle kiss on the cheek, wiping her tear away.

Jagger could feel her cheeks burning as she turned her head away,still being very close to his body.She looked down and her eyes became very distant and sad.
"If that is true,then why is Damon and Reaver planning and trying to find a way to kill me?"she asked with a soft voice.

"I do not know, but if they try I will protect you" He said turning her head back to face him, giving her a small wink. He was glad that he was able to talk to Jagger about all this and promised to himself and her that he would protect her from the Damon and Reaver. He hugged her once more, trying to say everything he could with that hug.

Jagger hugged him back without hesitation.Could he feel for me the way I feel for him?she wondered to herself.Alexander seems so contained,so kind and deadly...Perhaps that is why I want him so much...No...Why I need him so much..Is this what love feels like?Confusion and longing and desperation for another being?as she continued on in her deep thoughts.She realized,she was clinging to him for far too long,but...She couldn't seem to let go...Because I don't want to let go...she thought with great cetainty.

Alexander noticed that Jagger was still holding on to him, beginning to wonder if she had some feelings for him. He was not sure of his complete for Jagger either at the moment, she was his friend though he felt a connection between them and did not want to break that. Though he sighed softly and held her tight, hoping that maybe this confusion in his head would give him an answer soon enough. He smiled and looked down at Jagger; "Uhh...Jagger?" He said teasingly

Jagger snapped out of her reverie and leaned back away from him."Sorry...I...Umm..Sorry."she said looking away from him,knowing her eyes would show him the longing she was feeling for him."Alexander?"his name left her lips before she could even take it back.

"Yea?" He said smling back at her, laughing in his head about how shy she was about her long hug. He was starting to believe that Jagger did have feelings for him, even if it may be small.

Jagger hesitated a moment then sighed with reluctance and slightly turned her head to look at him."Don't tell anyone my secret please?I trust you more than any one of these creatures."she said softly.
No.I won't tell him.....he could not possibly have feelings for me...What creature would?she thought to herself.

"Your secret is safe with me, Jagger" He said noticing a difference in her eyes, that was not their before though he could not tell what it was but it seemed so much brighter.

Jagger smiled softly by his response.All the sudden,as if a new confidence had bursted inside of her.She gazed up at the midnight sky with soft eyes and asked aloud,"What do you think love is like?"

"The most wonderful feeling in the world...I suppose" He said as well staring up at the sky, slowly placing a hand on the necklace around his neck. He still had not forgotton his beloved that he had lost so long ago, but he had a feeling that she would want him to live his life.
