Kaze no Hyuga Isnt Quebec just still bitching about seceding from Canada.....? I dont know any of this...but im guessing their threats to do that made canada give in to all that french stuff.....which makes it harder for the entire northwestern hemisphere...... I saw a post on gaia somewhere about some wacko who thought canada and usa should merge......lol..... Actually, they were. I dont know about now, but way back they wanted to be independant from the rest of Canada. Yep, then they got raped with that Ice Storm of 97 thing... hahaha guess who the called up. OMG The rest of Canada!! Ungrateful bastards. lmfao So ya... I dont know or care what they're doing now. It's sad, because I have a few friends in Quebec and they're such nice people... it's just that their political representatives suck the a** off jesus or something....... Ya, they're bad.

Man, it would blow to be Jesus and have your a** sucked off by the Quebec politicians. I think.
Any of you guys heard of Brittany in France (Bretange)? Kind of like the Quebecians or whatever the ******** you call them, they have their own special language which only they in the whole country speak, and sometimes they also rumble about wanting freedom. I stayed in the area for a while when I was in high school as part of a French language learning program. I just find it funny that the French sometimes encourage the French-Canadian seperatists while getting really irritated with their own Celtic-French (I guess that's what they'd be called?) seperationists.

Sir Langley Power to hypocrisy anyone? I bet anyone would be a hypocrite to promote their own language....no one wants to learn a whole new language now do they..... im learning 4 right now....and i hate all of them except japanese...of course im biased ^_^.

It's kinda like how the school never gave up on feeding me french... and then I went off and learned some foreign Italian dialect of some kind. It's completely useless in all major cities... but at least I know it. biggrin

It's completely useless in all major cities... but at least I know it. biggrin thats how i feel about greek...useless except for in greece. Even most of the greeks here dont speak it. Hell....greeks IN GREECE dont even like speaking greek, whenever i go over there they like to work on their english, not help me with my greek......not like i care though....english is easier to use than greek, since ive been living here.....<<

I guess I've been lucky. My mom's family has been in the US since before the Revolution (they fled to Canada during that part, though...) and my Dad's from England. As long as I speak English, pretty much everyone is happy.
