plus bari sax is just plain hott ;P it's the only one of the main four that i havent at least tried yet, and i want to very badly.

BAnd is completely awesome i started off playing the clarinet but now i play tenor and sousaphone, im only a freshman (well.. was anyhow) and i quit cheerleading just to hang out with people who wanna babble on and on about reeds and valve oil! i love it so much!! biggrin but ihave a question.. when i play my sousa i get a black ring around my mouth, umm how do i prevent that?? 4laugh

Are you allergic to nickel? I am, and sometimes it causes funny colors in my skin. And I know they put it in a lot of mouthpieces because my friend has the same allergy and she gets rings when she plays her French horn. Only she gets red rings.

I'm getting a new baby this weekend, for sure. I'm so excited...it's going to be a really nice one, too. heart
Any suggestions for saxes, preferably in the $1700 - $2000 price range? A little bit more is alright, but we aren't looking to spend too much...

I'm a faithful Bari player I orginally started as an alto about four years ago...I think but our band needed a Bari so I got into iit and have loved bari ever since it can be really fun in Jazz
