[DC 20 20+1=21= DEFINATE pass#3]
He began to slight job up the side of the rock. He couldn't have done it any better even if he was a master of the art already. He strolled up the side of the rock as if it was laying flat and horizontal to the ground. he stopped at the top and placed a mark next to the X he placed up at the top. Now there were 3 marks at the top, each to represent his passing tries. He was so confident that he even walked back down the rock with relative ease although toward the bottom he had to pick up a bit of speed due to his chakra starting to slip. He didn't mind though, he was up there for a good 5 minutes or so and a few weren't even concentrated, he was just there. He smiled as he looked back up. He was past the half way mark and knew it was possible now. He set up his starting point a little closer figuring a smaller launch point would mean better control and he attempted the walk again after allocating the chakra to his feet.

This time wasnt as good as the ones before. He realized that he had let the things get to his head. The last walk had been so perfect that he thought it a breeze now. He realized how wrong he was and reset his focus. A view ran through his mind to take this as if it was the very first time all over again. To view each attempt as something new and deserving every bit of his focus as the first one did. He knew this and he set it in stone within his heart. He wouldn't forget it anytime soon. So with restarting at the new mark, he reset his chakra to his feet nad began the walk again.

[DC 20 19+1=20=pass #4 1 more to go BABY!!]
The focus and determination paid off once more. He had started with a jog but slowed to a walk half way up the stone. He moved with complete control up the side of the rock. Every now and then he lost a slight bit of focus and had to reset but all in all, he was determined. He moved to the very top of the rock and stoped. He placed a 4th mark next to the X to represent his 4th mark. He could feel the himself about to grasp. One more success and he would have it.
He lept from the top of the boulder and landed near his bag. He looked down to the bag and decided to check the scroll one last time to make sure he wasn't missing anything. Flipping the top off the messenger bag, he found the scroll and began to skim over it. He hadn't missed anything for what he was learning, which was fine. He sighed a bit and moved over toward the stone only after replacing the scroll into his bag for safe keeping. He looked to the rock and nodded to himself. From no on, he would do simple walks up the rock to see how far he could get and how long he could stay. With a quick chakra allocation, he was off.

He felt confident about the walk and made it about mid way up the rock before he felt his chakra completly slip out from under him. He only had enough time to leap backwards off the rock before he fell. He managed it and landed with a slight skid to the groun kicking up a small bit of dust. His black jacket was now more a sandy black with all the dirt and sand he had kicke dup this day. He didn't mind though, it was all marks of his efforts and he was proud of himself. He looked it over one more time and began to reallocate his chakra and began the walk again.

This walk was a bit better hight wise but he felt that it was off. He moved higher but seemed to be using more chakra than needed. Since he wasn't running anymore, it was getting harder to tell if he was using more chakra or not since there were no depression marks anymore but he still felt it. He stopped when he just knew it was too much chakra and placed a mark on the wall about 3/4ths the way up. he lept back down off the wall and looked up too it. He began to stretch a bit to eas the tension he had built up and then began the walk again after reapplying the chakra.

((Yea, I know but I'm doing a 5 count. first 2 times I ran up the wall, next two times I jogged up the wall and this time I'm just walking up it to make sure I mastered it. Basically going for believability ya know. But thanks))
Again, another failer. He felt his chakra slipping and his feet with it about half way up and couldn't keep the standing. He pushed himself off the boulder and landed on the ground again. It didn't phase him, this was the last time and he realized it was going to be the most difficult time. He simply had to do it. He couldn't let it go that easily. He simply reapplied the chakra and went at it again.

This walk was even more dreadful than the last one. He felt instantly that he had used to little chakra and simply pushed off the wall. he marked his position on the wal before pushing off, it wasn't anything special though. He moved with ease back to the stating point. Maybe he was just a bit too tense. He took in a deep sigh and let it all out again. Moving slightly, he gazed back to the rock and reset his determination. His feet filled again with chakra and he began the walk again*

He sighed a bit and began to look over the side of platue. It was starting to become dark and he wanted to master this before nightfall. He knew that might be a tall order but at the same time it was so close. Unfortunatly, his distraction caused him to lose too much concentration and he began to slip off the rock. he bounce around and found himself safely sliding to the ground. He groaned a bit and smaked his face a bit softly.
"Gotta focus more idiot, can't keep doing that..." he said tohimself as he shook off the slight threads of doubt and continued on. Applying the chakra to his feet and moving forward

Another failer. The exact amount of chakra was eluding him. He knew he had it close but it was still eluding him. He had to keep trying or else it'd urk him forever. He again began to focus his chakra and began the walk again.

He was off again. It felt closer to the walk before last, something had caught his attention half way through the walk and he lost too much of his concentration to complete the walk. He simply abandoned it himself and began to decend the stone. At the foot, he reapplied his chakra and began the walk once more with the wind blowing to encourage him.

[DC 20 19+1=20=SUCCESS BABY! *does victory dance* ]
He had made it. He actually made it. With a near perfect walk, he made it up the wall without any extra chakra used. He had done it, he had mastered the Chakra Control for wall climbing. He stood there as the day turned to dusk. He smiled confidently to himself as he placed his 5 mark into the stone. He knew that once a hard rain came, thses marks would be gone but he didn't care, this was his win and he felt proud about it. He slowly made his way back down the rock and looked back up in triumph for what he had done. There were several black marks all along the wrong, some straight, others squigly, some looking like a drunk 2 year old with ADD made them, ut they were still his marks. He looked at them a a measure of how his life might end up. Sure, he might fall short, might get a bit sloppy sometimes but as long as he stays focused and determined, there will be nothing he can't overcome. He moved to go back to his bag and pack up. He was hungrey now and was heading back into town.
