Just as a few of you notice something odd, you suddenly hear footsteps scratching against the hard ground behind you, down the hall most of you came through. The noise is directly behind Delphine and Galvin. Raam and Delphine are the first to look, as they were facing that direction.
You see five people entering the hallway, with a sixth standing beyond the secret door, holding a bow with an arrow notched. Apparently the last one caused the noise you heard, by the way another stares at him. Three of them step from the shadows into clear view.
One, a large half-orc weaing black breeches, carring two wickedly twisted shortswords, has a large tattoo of a flame wreathed dagger on his bare chest. He is in front. The other members of the group are humans, but for one, and all are dressed in dark clothes, most with cloaks. The other is also a half-orc in a black cloak, with a blackened eye, he is looking at the last member angrily. "Ya oaf!" he says.
The larger half-orc stands silently for a moment, seeming to size your group up, then he speaks in a deep, gruff voice. "'Ail strangers! I is Reimar! 'At brings ye all tha way din ta th'se depths on a morn like this?"
Four of the others move up behind the tattooed half-orc. The other half-orc, with the black eye, begins to say, "Hey, dems dem guys.. dems guys frim tha carava-" but is cut short by a nasty punch from one of the humans, sending him to the floor in a heap. None of the men appear especially happy to see you, their mood appears to be sour even to each other.

Galvin suprised by there sudden appearance steps back, his fingers slowly griping the string of his bow, reading his arrow every so sligthly. He's eyes never leaving the one with the other bow.
"Were just investigating information for some one. Nothing to big."

I stare back at the large orc, tensing my muscles to prepare for any fight that might break out. As I watch, I try to rack my brain for any religious sects or orders that might use the symbol tattooed on the half-orc's chest. Knowing my knowledge is limited, I whisper to the cleric to do the same, making sure not to move my head to try to hide the whispers.

Raam says nothing as the scene unfolds before them. He would much rather like to get out of this place in one piece and maybe they could get this group to take them to another exit. But considering how edgy these newcomers were... He kept his hand on the handle of his mace just to safe. "Caravan...?" he thinks to himself, not knowing what they wer talking about.

You do notice the wrapped hands and combat style of the unarmed human that threw that punch though.

He's eyes never leaving the one with the other bow. "Were just investigating information for some one. Nothing to big." " Aye'd half ta dis'gree wit ya on tha 'ne.. it lerks purty big ta me." Reimar responds jokingly, looking past you to the Carrion Crawler or Half-Giant, you can't be sure which. At this, one of the cloaked humans steps forward a bit, his hands are behind his back. " What could you possibly be investigating down here? In an abandoned tunnel system... I do wonder." He looks at Reimar, then back to you.

I think to myself about what the shorter half orc had said. I try to remember how many guards had just happened to show up when we found the first body...was it 6?. I try to place their sizes and heights in my head, trying to remember if they could have been the ones in front of us now.

DarkHayama ((I figure this would probably be a Wisdom check. I can edit the mods if you disagree)) 11+3Wisdom Mod=14 The City Watch are all human, and wear metal armor. These are obviously not them. From the tools, equipment and armor you would guess most of them are theives.

Galvin looks at the human who stepped forward.
"I could be asking you that same question. Our business is our own."
Looks back at the carrion crawler. Nods in its direction.
"We ran across this thing by accident. We will not bother you, All wish to do is finish our mission, and leave as quickly possible."

Reimar studies Galvin for a moment, then responds. "Aye, din here on a miss'on.." he smiles, "Couldn't be lookin' for the necromancer could ye? 'Tis awful nice of ye to be doin' the Watch's work fer 'em." His men start laughing at this. The other half-orc is lifting himself from the floor.

As the Half-Orc mentions the necromancer, I look down. A necromancer huh? Well, maybe that explains the strange magical worms, and it sure as hell explains the undead creatures we encountered..." I say under my breath. I look up at the half orc, unsure how this will work. "What do you know of this necromancer?" I ask, waiting for their answer before proceeding.

"I would rather not do the watches work."

Even after Reimar's joke, Ebrak remained silent. The man was an a**, there was no way around it. What's worse, what he'd planned for, took so many risk for, was it going to be ruined because the guard in this town are incompitent dunces..?! No, he had to stay calm, keep his wits about him.
For now, all he did was keep his bow notched but not pulled back and pointed downwards. He glanced to all present, but his attentions were primarily on those hearrived into the room with.

Galvin was getting nervous, he didn't like the stuation one bit. His hand pulled his bow string back a bit, enough to make a small creek. Keeping his eyes on the other man with the bow.
