@ plum... 10 isn't all that big of a number... At least when you have worked in a daycare... We had 10 to 11 children a day between the ages of 1-3 years old! The only thing I worry about is the financial responsibility that is inevitable... I do really want 10 though... Something about a really large family makes me feel all warm and toasty inside! My family consists of 3 brothers (one adopted) and two sisters (one is in the foster adult program type thing... she is severely disabled!!!) and then me! and my mom does it by herself!!! I love having a big family it means never a dull moment LOL.... I actually miss it horribly it is so quiet and slow in my house though I am sure Sean will be sure to remedy that soon! He already seems to be an EXTREMELY active baby!

@ strange... I've noticed that that happens a lot... The mama's boy, daddy's girl thing... I was totally guilty of being a daddy's girl while he was around! And my son is definitely a mama's boy!!! I think it is just while they are young though! My mom is the most important person to me right now while my 17 year old brother seems to flock to my mom's boyfriend. I think as kids get older they need the guidance from the family member of the same gender to help them deal with situations specific to their gender! Like pregnancy LOL!

My mother in law has 11 children. They're all about 2 years apart and she had her youngest when she was 43, I think. So she was either pregnant or breastfeeding for 22 years! The oldest of the girls (she's 2 days younger than me) is now pregnant with her 6th, and she's due right around when you and Jess are!

Big families are nice and snuggly. They're all so close and we have nieces and nephews rampant everywhere, and usually someone's always pregnant in the family! I only have 1 sister, so going from my tiny quiet family to his huge one was an adjustment, but I love it!

I always had a small family--it was just the four of us in my immediate family (5 if you count my bachelor uncle that lives with us). And the extended family wasn't that big either--my mom's family had all died by the time I was 6, and while my dad had 4 stepsisters, we never saw them, and they had rather small families too--only 2-3 kids each.

Yeah it's so different comparing my family to his! My parents' families are both halfway across the world, and I've only seen my dad's parents 3 times, the last time being when I was 11. My mom's parents died before I was born. And Jason's family is so close, some of the younger ones have a hard time distinguishing between their parents and grandparents, and all the cousins see each other so often!

*butts back into the conversation*

Yeah my family isn't HUGE... Just 2 brothers and one sister and 2 adopted (well sorta...).... My boyfriends is even smaller... Just a half sister and a brother....But honestly his family is closer then mine is though we all live in the same city. My family is kind of strange no one visits by here though granted only my mom and oldest brother are actually able to drive... No one even bothers... I have been living on my own for almost 2 years and I got about 3 months of visits from my family then NOTHING! I actually see my boyfriends mom more then my own >.> not because she visits but she works at walmart and I can visit her there not drive to her house and hope she is home like my mom.

That's similar to my family--we're just not a visiting family. Like I said before, we ONLY see my mom's family as weddings and funerals, and not eve a lot of those because she doesn't have an immediate family. And my dad's family is pretty anti-social.

It was really strange when I was with Danni because her family, while smaller, was always getting together and seeing each other. I just never grasped the concept.

I do have a question--how do you change the color of your Magical Girl costume?

Jason calls his mom at least once a day, or she calls him, and they're talking about everything that comes into their head. My mom and I almost never call each other, and if we do, it's to ask a specific question and we don't talk long. We keep in touch mainly by email, but again, not to chat about stuff like he and his mom do, but to ask questions or whatever. It's not that my family isn't close, it's just a difference in personality or the ways we do things!

I also wondered what was up with the Magical Schoolgirl colors! I poked around with it yesterday, but it all looked the same, and I didn't see anything new in the cash shop or in the previews on the donation items. I wondered if they announced it but forgot to actually change it? I don't know!

I don't know if you actually figured this out yet... I haven't been here in a while... But the colors are new cash shop items. They did announce it. Each 1 has 4 poses for it.... You have to go to the cash shop and then go to the all tops option they are 99GC each I believe... They weren't a featured item when I bought them... So that is why they were hard to find I guess...

Sorry if it is too little too late!

Thanks for that. I had hoped we'd be able to get it through the actual item without having to buy MORE stuff. Apparently Gaia is beginning to care more about the money too...

I will never get anything from the cash shop. I can't afford to for one thing and just like neo, they are getting too money hungry. It's just not right that the cash items are so much nicer than the DI's are. I love that person that was behind fawn. Was that a cash item?

I found a cupboard elf yesterday.

It's called Grace of Aphrodite, and yes it's cash shop. I finally gave in and bought a neo card too even though those items expire. I figure by then I'll be wanting a change anyway, or the pound will be back up and I can get a different lab rat.

Bipper, how CUTE!!! Amber hasn't tried opening cabinets yet, but she's only just started venturing into the kitchen. I'm still surprised when she crawls across the whole room because she hears me or Jason around a corner.

She just started pulling herself to standing this weekend, and only today finally started to babble "Nay, nay, nay, nay." She's REALLY late on babbling!

And now she's not going to stop!!

Something I heard about premies though fawN, is that you can't go by their birth date in regards to development, but but what their birth date SHOULD have been...that might give you a better idea of where she is. Again, it's only something I heard reference to, and can't even tell you where or when that was. But it does kinda make sense.

Yeah I usually account for her prematurity by looking at what 9-month old babies should be doing. Had she been born on time, her birthday would have been around Jade's, so when I compare Jade starting to haul herself around on her tummy around Thanksgiving, and saying hi, bye, mama, and dada around Christmas, I can see Amber's late even so. She's getting there! Just taking her time! She was finally saying "dadadada" while looking at the picture frame I have on the floor with several family photos in it, and I'm not sure she knew what she was saying, but I'm proud nonetheless!
