Yes and I hate it. My counselor thinks Im too dumb so Im doubling algebra, while getting no credits for it, and geometry at the same time. What really pisses me off is that I have to pass algebra to be able to start my school's GSA but Im not getting credit for it!
My mom called and talked to and then yelled at my counselor but alas..even moms bloody threats didnt work. Its surprising we dont have a lawsuit because of what mom said. ^^;

My freshman year I failed a lot of my classes because of medication I was on and yes, it was the medication. I was a living zombie. o.o; Some of them I scraped through with a passing grade and one was algebra.
I had more medical issues during my sophomore year but got a lot of my classes out of the way. Right Im basically making up two english credits with the nightschool but other then that, taking normal junior classes.
But, because I passed algebra with a D- both semesters, the counselor thinks I should take it over WITH geometry. She wanted me to take algebra, geometry, and chemistry at the same time but I politely told her to ******** off. ^^; Not the exact words, but the connotation was there.
So..my schedule is as follows:
English 11
Geometry
Choir
US History
Algebra
Earth Science
Geography
I slept through our latest chapter in US History. ^^; Never opened the book, didnt take notes, talked during the class..Took the test today and got a B on it. :: shrugs :: Course..in there I normally get perfects on everything..
Yes, Im bragging. Im proud of my laziness. ^^;

[Q] Metabolic I think I could of graduated early. But I'm taking a few AP classes this year. Which is why I probably won't be online. Yeah, see, if you're gonna go to college, you should take all the extra time you have and take AP classes, since you get college credit for them and it's (near) free. See, me, I'm going Tech Prep with distinction. My counselor said to go for that AND college prep, but I don't want to take a foriegn language, and I'm a lazy a**, and I have no plans on going to college. Ever. So there's no point. But otherwise... This december I am officially a Senior! YAY! -dances around- Yeah, I've already got out of most of my mandatory classes for the college freshman year. I don't really have to take math ever in college, or history. Just need to find a major sweatdrop .

Heh, yeah. I was in AP spanish. I did nothing, the entire year, but I got a nice little weighted A+ on my report card.
You shouldn't have to retake Algebra. Sure, it's s**t for your GPA, but a D is still passing. That's seriously fuzzy, man.

And whoever said I would sell my ideas for money..you were right. Im desperate to find a way to fund my trip to Houston this summer.
Mom said I could use any idea I came up with as long as it was prostitution. ^^ So..anyone have any ideas? o.o;

Actually, Im trying to get the money to go see a friend graduate this year in Texas. Bus was cheaper then air but still..>.<;;
