Hey everyone! I'm Jas. I'm very interested in learning more about Wicca and the Craft. They are incredibly interesting to me, and I feel some connection to them, somehow. I'm not really sure how it'll go over with my parents, though. My dad's Catholic and my mom isn't religious. If anyone has any advice for dealing with potential parental opposition, please, do let me know.

Hmm... I love listening to music, except rap. I love gardening. I'm not artistic at all. I love to read. My favorite color would have to be... green, or certain shades of brown. I love words, and I love learning stuff. Oh, and I love wind. I don't know if that's my 'element' or not - I don't know how you tell. But I've always had a connection to the air.

Hi i am Ashly. I am 16 and live in Florida. I am a newcomer to Wicca and would appreciate any help and advice that anyone would like to offer. It is hard for me to learn alot because all my friends are christians or atheist and im not quite sure about my mother.... so any help would be awesome 3nodding biggrin

Hello! I'm Rebecca. My element is Air and I'm clairvoyant. My specialty is moon scrying. I hope to one day practice dream walking. I suck at charging herbs, but rocks, well, thats a different story. I love to draw, paint, sing, dance, and play piano, harp, violin, flute, sax....pretty much any instrument I can get my hands on. I'm also a poet, and I compose a lot of original songs. My best friend is Valorie (Choir-Angel), and we're stupid together. As you can see, I'm not really good at talking about myself, so, if you want to know more you'll just have to ask. Ciao!

Hello everyone! My name is Melanie (or raindroproses, if you prefer), I'm a Pisces, and I've been interested in Wicca since I was around 12. I'm 21 years old now, and although I've never really settled on a permanent religion for myself, I feel a strong affinity towards Wicca and Paganism and I hope to devote my life to either of these belief systems.

I guess I can go a little bit into my past... I was raised Catholic, and I went to a Catholic school for the first five grades. After that I was introduced into the public school system where I eventually became friends with a boy who passed on one of his Wiccan handbooks written by Raymond Buckland. Ever since that moment in time, I've been absolutely entranced by the craft... Several times I've been punished for my altering beliefs from my parents, but the calling feels too strong in me to ignore.

I think I would consider myself a pure water element, but I do feel an incredible amount of kinship to animals and nature in general. I'm hoping that I can meet many like-minded people here who may be able to guide me in the right direction for the future smile

Anyway, enough about my relationship with Wicca. I'm sure you want to know something about me personally, right? Let's see... I really enjoy watching the Discovery Channel and Animal Planet. I watch nature documentaries whenever I can! My favorite television shows are Supernatural, Mythbusters, House MD, Man Vs. Wild, Survivorman, and Coupling (a British series). My favorite actor by far is Christian Bale... I adore that man, and admire him a great deal as an artist and human being. I listen to all kinds of music, but my favorite band is 30 Seconds to Mars. Some of my favorite movies of all time are The Prestige, Casino Royale, Open Hearts, and The Machinist. In my spare time, I enjoy writing short stories and poetry, reading, and playing musical instruments. Some day I hope to publish a novel smile

Hi, I'm a new person here, I go by JT, but if you want to you can call me John. I'm a 16-year-old Pisces, and I was born 2 days after the Pisces area, so I'm a Pisces with Aquarius qualities (meaning I'm hyper).

I'm in Corvallis, Oregon, USA. if you are too, then contact me! Where I live there are weird things happening. A certain phenomenon (sp?) is going around my house, making it look like either my mom, mom's boyfriend or myself are somewhere else in the house, when we are actually in another. this happened most to me. one instance, I saw my mom standing in the hall, and that apparition dissapeared when my mom came out of the living room. We have yet to find out what is going on there.

Anyway, if it seems I'm not on for a while, my mom has probably taken me to help her out at her work (the local humane society!) and I'm terribly sorry for not being on, but I will try to be on as frequently as I can, so no worries (for this week)^_^

I got interested in Wicca when i was about 7 or so, because my mom was into it at that time, and I found her pentagram, which was about oh 8-10 inches in diameter, and was ceramic. Ever since then, I sort of forgot about it untill last year, when I was continually having dreams which my mom was sharing with me. We were fighting the same black figures, with same people helping, but different areas. Myself being in a mountain range, and my mom being in orbit around Earth. We woke up before it was over...Anyway, Hi and I would love to learn more of these weird happenings.
