She yawned again adn rested her head on his shoulder. "I suppose..." She yawned again and then snuggled up against him and slowly drifted off to sleep.

He looked into her face. "Is it weak to love?" He asked himself silently. He carried her to her bedroom and gently began to lay her down on her bed.

It suddenly rose out of a shadowed corner slowly, making its presence known. It held up its hands to show it had no weapons.

I figured I owed you an explination above everyone else, especially since my reason for doing what I did is...how shall I put this, dead. It smiled behind its mask, a sad smile. Or are going to kill me?

Well, have you heard of a Lycan called Mathadus? It asked, stepping away from shadows and Neko so that it didn't look like ti was going to vanish or attempt to kidnap her again.

Well then, It said. He found me, how I have no idea as...Kinikki I beleive his name is. He told me that I could would have all the chaos I could stand if I captured four individuals, after setting up a serial murderer bit first. I'm sure you realize who I was supposed to kidnap, along with dear Catrina ovre there, I was to take dear Xandora, dear Rikku, and sir Kyrre, which he promised would set up something later to come. It started to pace, looking almost nervous.
I was to kill them as bloodily as possible and then leave their reamins for all of New York to see. Obviously, that didn't happen... I almost thought that he would come after me for letting Rikku escape. A silly mistake on my part. And so I hurried in trying to finsih part of the bargain...but it seems that dear Catrina was more ingenious than I had first thought.

"She is wise beyond her years. Never forget it. Now go on." The mention of her capture and escape brought pain into him again, for not being able to do a thing at that time, but he did not show it.

Well, that is all of it really. The war started, and the chaos that was spawned from that was indeed more than I could imagine... It stared off into space for a moment. It then looked at Asmodai. Are you going to kill me now? It sounded so calm it was eerie, as if death held no fear for it.

He pondered for a moment, wondering if that would actually solve anything. All this really proved to him was that an elder was yet again to blame for all the pain and suffering that happened.

You want me to join your little revolution. It said bluntly. Are you sure that's wise, sir Asmodai? Well, let's leave that question for another time perhaps? I accept, and I suppose that partners should know each other.
It pulled off its mask, revealing a young face, looking hardly older than fourteen with pale gray eyes, almost white hair, and even paler skin. "Call me Kage. If you ever require me, simply ask a shadow. That's where I am most of the time." It, he, said in a light, childish voice. "Until then, sir Asmodai." It bowed adn then steped back into the shadow, melting into it.
